Great price on this pressure washer which includes a snow cannon, as advertised in their latest catalogue.
Their normal RRP is $169, as I bought one myself when Repco had 20% off and paid $135.20. Works a treat with the snow cannon on my car.
Other people have said the Ryobi one (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/644276) is a better investment with the extra warranty, but each to their own. The Ryobi one doesn't have a snow cannon though.
But you bought a gerni, not mechpro. Gerni has a better build and will last a lot longer. You got what you pay for , so you should be happy
my gerni ended up with a failed handle, long slim streak of water gushed out of the side when using. not regularly used and sitting in the garage, but mostly heavy use of 2 to 3 hours or so when used. got gerni to replace the handle within warranty though after 2 years.

meh, I used to have base model karcher for 10 years without missing a beat. Ended up 'upgrading' to a Gerni just to get a few extra attachments and thinking a newer model would be better. So far it's died on me twice in 2 years with minimal car wash use (4-5 times a year). Same fault, press trigger and wait at least 30secs for the pump to kick in. Water is at full pressure with everything secured properly. I can't even return it to Bunnings due to lockdown. I don't think I really trust Gerni over any 'no name' brand anymore to be honest.

My gerni stopped working for no reason at all as far as I can tell, googling around seems like a common issue.
If it's the same problem as me try this…. keep pressing the trigger for up to a minute and see if it kicks in.
Love my Gerni and it’s metal pump - plastic pumps go brittle and crack over time.
I try to look after my things and gave away my 10 year old 110 that only had an o ring failure in that time (o rings easily available from Bunnings).
Is this good for exposed aggregate concreting?
For cleaning exposed aggregate yes. But not enough pressure for exposing the aggregate after concreting.
How much psi for exposing?
My guess is 3000 to 4000 psi. Using sugar as commented below will definitely help.
Use sugar, the concrete doesn't cure on the surface and get a aldi petrol pressure cleaner.
Tell us more about using sugar. How much, where and how? (1 teaspoon in my coffee as I work?)

Gosh id be too scared to risk this on mountain bike.. maybe a cheapy? Not that hard to clean mud off by hand for the frame… for hubs/pedals etc i just wouldnt risk a pressure washer

It has a 'Low Pressure Function' where you "remove the nozzle from the end of the lance" - haven't tried it yet though.
run it without the motor turning on, i.e. not connected to power.
Get decent stream (adjust the nozzle) and a good spray for general stuff.
Definitely shouldn't clean a mountain bike with a high pressure washer.
I decided to go with this, was delivered in 2hrs which is really impressive. Won't use it on the bike though but don't regret buying it.
how about don't clean your bike. why would anybody do that?! just use chain cleaner and leave the rest alone.

Maybe a silly question, but, how to connect Snow canon. I have a Rockwell I bought cheap from Supercheap Auto few years back. Not sure if I can connect a cannon to it or not. Or else may need to upgrade to this. Thanks

the adapter attaches to the foam cannon you have and then slots into the trigger handle of your pressure washer like the normal wand does. which adapter you need will depend on the pressure washer you have.
My good old Aldi Workzone pressure washer hose is starting to leak and the gun attachment leaking also. Noting the parts seem hard to find might just purchase this and have a new one with warranty. As above keen to see if anyone has used on motorbikes.
Exact same reason I'm looking, the hose on my WorkZone has cracked in multiple areas so spitting water everywhere. Was considering taking it back to Aldi but also don't want to be 'that guy'
Yeah mine is at least 4/5 years old. Motor is still strong so seems a waste but time I buy a new gun and hose ( from somewhere?) it is easier and probably cheaper to buy this.

The Ryobi chews through the car wash dispenser. Diluting it does the same job. Really impressed by the power of the unit. Better than I was expecting for $99. Took the paint off the Mrs hubcaps….
How close were you for it to remove the paint? Want one for bike/car but sounds risky.
About 30cm away. Thought it was the dirt at first because it was silver underneath then I saw the paint flakes in the water below

Good spot, a turbo nozzle usually costs at least $50 by itself so if this unit comes with one that's quite a good deal.
How does this compare to the Homelite $50 version from Bunnings. I know specs are slightly different, but interested to see whether this is worth the extra $50? Both have good reviews.
Foam cannon attachment can be added to the Homelite (although I'm not sure how yet) - Anybody else know?

Would this be powerful enough to clean a concrete driveway? My current one is 1600psi and isn't strong enough to clean or the nozzle spread is too small to make it effective for large areas. Would a 600psi power difference be enough?
I think 2200 should be enough but it will take a longer and you'll have to almost put the nozzle on the driveway. Doesnt high presure cleaning concrete make the concrete kinda go grainy sandy, and is just never really the same?

A snow cannon itself is about AU$ 20 - 25 (from overseas & waiting for shipping),
so I say this this is a good deal for what you get, eg. attachments,
but unsure about the pump (brass?) and quality of the unit's wear & tear, for longevity.
Per the ad, it's a metal pump. Too early for me to comment on the quality of the unit's wear and tear, but I washed my 2 cars with the snow cannon and works a treat. Use Meguairs Gold Class shampoo to generate lots of thick foam.
what was your mix ratio to get good results with foam cannon?

I bought this when it was first released 8 months ago. I use it for the car mainly. Pretty good power washer and does what i need to clean the car. Quite powerful too. Build quality is not as good as the high end stuff but i cant complain for 100 bucks. Snow foam is also decent and does what i need.
