    Can I use these to convert a hdmi signal (coming out from laptop) to the displayport port within the monitor or are these only one direction?

      From my experience they only work in one direction (i.e. DP on the PC to HDMI on the monitor).

      nope, i needed this when i wanted to use my 120hz monitor that only had dp with my laptop, but you have to get an active cable like this,

      i still have it but really dont need it anymore as i got a pc. if you want to save money I could prob somehow post it to you or smn for cheaper.

      Generally speaking, the converter is only one direction.
      Maybe you can try this HDMI to DisplayPort Adapter with USB Power to convert a HDMI signal to the diaplayport.

    Hey Team!

    Before I press go… you wouldn't happen to have any kvm switches?

    I'm specifically looking for:
    INPUT:
    2x Display Port input (got a laptop and a PC sharing a single screen)
    4x USB (fancy keyboard uses two usb slots and a mouse)

    OUTPUT:
    1x Display Port (to monitor)
    2x USB (one to each device)

    if not, all good i'll purchase this deal :)

        it's all good :) I've bought the deal above.

        The issue is that my monitor only has 1 display port and 1 HDMI input.
        Currently, my desktop utilises the display port and surface pro utilise the HDMI.

        I'm going to use the deal you've posted and have the Display Port signal from the surface pro dock converted and go into my monitors HDMI input :)
