    @wswgin I used a parcel forwarding company to get the Fire shipped over here. Will need a US account for the Fire itself for the US content. Not sure about using an Aussie account on it as it shipped with the US account details pre-installed (I'm sure you can easily de-register the device). Was worth it during the Black Friday sales last year, from memory picked it up for around USD$80 (HD 8 rrp now seems to be $89.99). I've read comments Fire being sold in the UK but something about the content not working quite as well as the US market. May have changed since I last looked it at last year. Also to note, for the US content to work properly you'll need either VPN or DNS forwarding… or buy on the PC and load it on the Kindle.

    Edit: It was HD 8 Plus + Cover USD$90 combo
