Cheap active noise cancelling earbuds. Big and ugly, but cheap and apparently with decent ANC performance.

Plenty of reviews out there, some are obviously sponsored, but some are from the larger outlets. All pretty much says similar things, big and ugly (with a huge case), but good enough for the price point ($100 USD range) so I guess you can't really go wrong at 50, even if its 2 years old.

  • Isn’t this RRP?

    • Its Amazon, there is no such thing as RRP. The "normal" price/deal price fluctuates.

      But to ease your mind

They have the same item on another listing with RRP of 132.99 and a "Deal" price of 81.59

      • they normally sells on Ebay for around $65 so the RRP is inflated anyway. $50 is a bad price tho

Got a better ANC from a known brand at the 50 price point?

There is a big difference between ebay 65 and Amazon (sold and shipped by Amazon) 50 when it comes to returns and warranty.

      • So it is a bargain.

According to CamelCamelCamel, lowest price in Amazon has been $106.31

I bought their ANC headphones and was pleasantly surprised by the quality, so dropping $50 and trying out these Earbuds isn't a problem for me.

  • You can get the new NB2 Pros for ~$82 from Edifier using the EFANCOOL code which is probably better value for most.

    • Or even look at getting the Neobuds pro for $134 + shipping. I have the NB2's and I am on my 2nd pair after the first one had it's earbud that became distant and hollow. Amazon sent me one instantly, got it in a few days time. Mic quality from what people have said does sound distant but definitely audible on the NB2.

I have these and owned them since they were launched.

App is useless, never received any firmware updates. That being said, sound quality is stellar and so is ANC performance.

They're not the latest and greatest and they stick out of your ears, but at 50 bucks they're a steal.

    Highly recommended.

    • Have you tried out the mic on this? I'm looking for something wireless that I can use for teams/zoom/discord.

  • Some sites are asking $200 for these

Its an old model, CPL (local PC store in Melbourne) has them for 199 and marked as end of life. I think they were priced at a higher point than the subsequent NB2 and NB2 Pros.

Eitherway, RRP is meaningless, just compare what else you can get at the 50 dollar price point.

      • Well I'm happy I got the OPPO enco w51 for $65 from a seller who didn't really know what they had brand new sealed in the box and RRP is $199
