I love using these motorised whisk frothers mainly because they are very easy to use and clean. I used to buy these from Kmart for $2.25 which later increased to $2.50 and a bit later to $2.90 and finally disappeared from Kmart indefinitely. The Kmart ones were really bad quality and I had to buy one every 6 months, which I didn't mind because they were so cheap. IKEA has a very similar product, to the Kmart one, that goes for $2.99, but since we're in lock-down here in VIC, I started looking for other alternatives.

The Luxerlife is a bit more expensive than those of IKEA and Kmart, but Luxerlife has rechargeable battery and two different whisk heads so you can also use it for mixing eggs and different types of powdery stuff (protein, etc.). A major issue with the IKEA and Kmart frothers is that you have to be very careful with the amount of milk that you have in your cup, otherwise it would spill because the frother is too fast. I'm assuming this is not a problem with Luxerlife because of its variable speeds option.

Also, this is the lowest price ever according to CCC.

P.S.: This is my first post here and English is my second language.

lolx … I liked the Deal+Review Package rather a Deal only.

What difference a milk frother can make to coffee or tea in taste ?

        • A frother makes a huge difference in terms of texture, not much in terms of taste. Although I personally think the foamy texture makes the milk taste a bit sweeter, but maybe it's just me.

I much prefer the milk frothers that come in jugs. Heating milk as well as frothing is a no brainer. Shame they cost a lot if you can't find them at aldi, etc.

    • Depending on the model, cleaning those can be a hassle.

      • The one I have is stainless steel, a quick rinse after use and its clean.

I’ve had my ikea one for about 18 months and I haven’t had to replace the batteries?

Could always just use rechargeable batteries too.

    PS your English is great.

    • Did you use it regularly? I had to change the batteries on mine every couple of weeks.

      • I use it at least weekly.

If you were using daily then couple of weeks is 21 uses. Twice daily is 42 uses.

I’ve had mine for ~77 weeks. That’s 77 uses and still no change required.
