LED Lenser MT7 Flashlight - $60 USD Shipped

21

Got an email from LAPG last night regarding a sale on the Coast/LED Lenser MT7. Cost is $35 + $25 USD Shipping which makes it under $60 AUD delivered. The cheapest local price I can find is $95 shipped from http://www.ledtorches.com.au/medium-size-torches/led-lenser-…

So not a bad price at all. I already have the P7 as well as couple of Fenix torches so this will make a great addition to my collection :)

I was >< close to being interested as I need a LED torch…

    Meh.

    • How can they ask for that. It doesn't seem logical at all. Might as well say "We ship to Australia if you help us steel your identity".

I paid $34 delivered for a P7. And before people start negging, my P7 is the real deal.

    No deal.

    • Where from?

      • -1

From malsdewd, an Australian seller on eBay. He sold a few hundred P7 and MT7 and I can guarantee that it's genuine.

          Feel free to post up a link bud…because I don't see any sub $60 MT7's on ebay…

Who else thinks people should banned if they post about a great price and don't post a link?

        • -1

Yeah, these people don't contribute to the society. Get rid of them!

    • Where was this from?

      a P7 =/= MT7…

      • CatchoftheDay. That's where I got my P7.

      • -1

Cost of P7 = MT7. In fact I chose the P7 because it looks better.

        • +3

OK, I don't even know how to respond to that. You neg the deal when you can't find a cheaper price for the SAME product…and somehow because you feel that because the P7 "looks better", that negates all the additional features of the MT7…

          Yeah, what a stupid comparison.

    What? No urine sample?

    • These guys really think they are the police!

  • I paid $98 shipped from http://www.yourhomedepot.com.au/products/led-lenser/mt7-tact…

Its a good deal if you can wait for postage from US. If you want warranty maybe go for HomeDepot

    Awesome torch very bright

  • No request for aiding the Nigerian prince?
No sane person would hand over that info to some random website even if they've been around for 10 odd years which appears to be the case with these guys.

    • Well I've bought stuff from them before and they've always been fast and professional.

When they ask for credit card and statement info they asked me to black out all numbers except the last 4 digits…

But it's a shame that they don't just accept paypal…

  • Good price. Though I'd doubt anyone here will happily give personal information away for a saving. I could be wrong.

  • Postage drops to $7 each at 10 units so if you guys know people who might want one or organise something you can simply order a whole bunch for $42 each and post it back out to whoever for another $6 through auspost. It's a good price for a MT7 considering the price around here if you've ever seen one in person.

  • Btw is coast and led lenser the same brand ?

    • yep…

  • I want an MT7 but not sure if i want to go through the trouble of getting it through these guys.

  • Digitally regulated output? That's been an issue on Led Lensers for a while now, and is the big reason I bought a Fenix recently. I could live with the inability to focus anymore. Also apparently their lumens claims are questionable, but I imagine this is due to non-regulated output (light levels drop as soon as battery capacity does)

    • yeah, that seems to be the consensus on CPF…I do prefer my Fenix's better then the LLs…

      • I'm tossing up between this (from someone else) and A Fenix TK41. This is kinda nice as it's smaller and I can get coloured filters for it. Fenix filters are a bit hard to find (they exist but they're either not clear what torch they are for or are not for the TK41.

Trying to find a review of the MT7 now but kinda failing. Any help on this path? Or should I just get the Fenix (and if so, where be the filters?)

        • I got a TK41 just this week. Love it, and had a P7 before it. Massive upgrade but of course it cost me a little bit more too. Not sure what colour temp it throws but it's very white, maybe slightly blue but in a good way.

No experience with MT7 so can't comment on that or the filter situation.

        • Cool. Thanks for that. What's the TK41's beam like? Tight, wide or adjustable?

        • Non adjustable, so if you absolutely love or need it then you may need to stick with a LL (unless other good brands are adjustable too - no idea, didn't research that far).

Great centre throw with good amount of spill light.

Watch this review to see beam and spill (on something other than a wall)
