First deal so here we go :) Cheapest retail price I've seen for a while. Game may not be for everyone due to the extreme difficulty and lack of save system , but from all reports it's a glorious audio + visual powerhouse for PS5, and contender for GOTY. Enjoy

    From everything I've seen and read, still seems like a bit of a gamble at this price. People seem to love it or hate it.

      And some both love it and hate it. Gorgeous game with awesome gun play and feedback. I just wish it wasn't a roguelike as it feels like I'm repeating the first few levels the whole time.

        You can bypass most of the early levels once you get certain items.
        I feel like the game is specifically designed so you don't really need to rerun older levels once you beat bosses.

        Haven't played the expansion just the main game. I preferred Returnal but GOT is an amazing game.

          I just picked up the PS5 upgrade on the weekend and it's some of the best haptic integration into a game I've experienced.

          Looks better too, but even the PS4 version looked better than many (most?) PS5 games. I'm sure it would look even better if I had more than a 5 year old 1080p Kogan.

            @kapone: I have to agree, love the haptics between the different surfaces and environment like wind effects. And does look fabulous on the PS5. Definitely upgrade your monitor to experience the smooth refresh rate!

            @kapone: Yeah I did the upgrade on the weekend too, have to agree with the haptics. Best implementation to date and the visual quality is super sharp on a 4k oled too. Highly recommend it.

    Amazing game, I played until I had the platinum..

    Starts fairly challenging, but got easier once I got the hang of things. Also great music.

      Also, Control has a godmode feature in settings if you want.

        Thanks. I did play the godmode but found it way too easy. Didn’t end up enjoying the game or quite get the story. This does look fall in the same genre.

      I just completed control a week ago and it became a bit of a slog towards the end for me.

      Very different games, returnal is harder to start with but much more fun imo.

      I got bored with control, but loved Returnal, you need patience though or it might not be for you.
