  Are these compatible with the Aldi Xfinity batteries? Will it be powerful enough to be useful clearing leaves etc?

    I don't know about this one but 18V blowers are usually good enough for clearing leaves. You will quickly run out of juice with the bundled 1.5Ah battery though. Better buy a brand with a better ecosystem, such as Ozito.

    Don't do it. I have an 18V Victa blower and it is only capable of shifting grass clippings. It struggles even with dry leaves on cement. Get either a higher voltage or petrol blower.
