  • No ANC right?

    • Not active no, but they do a decent job is isolating noise (of course good job is subjective).

  • What’s anc? I’m looking for headphones I can take away to work with me, travel and use at home listening to music or trying to hear tv while my crazy kids run mad around house.
Are these a good buy or is there better for less?

    • Active noise cancellation.

I will leave the recommendation to others as I am also looking for one.

ANC = Active noise cancelling. Hopefully not too technical, but the headphone will 'record' the sound from the outside and will flip the sound wave upside-down playing the exact reverse to make that sound disappear. These headphones do not have this feature and typically for a good set of ANC headphones you will pay quite a lot more from higher-tier brands like Sony, Bose, Sennheiser.

These are a good set of wireless headphones that are good quality, have some good features (BT5, AptX) for the price. Recommendations for headphones is difficult. Too many factors from shape and size of your head, what music you listen to, what sound profile you like. Probably best to read some reviews and see what a sample of others think?

  • Returned this item after a few days of use. The volume levels are too low.

My bad, I did a search but searched for the item specifically :-(

      • All good, apparently it's OK under a separate deal post anyway due to how that previous deal was specified.

Not sure why the other deal doesn't have the product tagged.

        • I searched again and it does come up, but it didn't stick out based on relevance score so it really is my bad!

          • @jaymzrsa: Don't stress: there are specific tags for products in the OzB database, and they haven't been used. This specific offer also isn't in the title of the deal, so you're giving it visibility.

  • When I tried these at JB a few yrs back the earpads were some of the smallest I’d ever tried.

Might necessitate aftermarket brainwavz pads for some people.
