So I was looking for a second monitor to stack with my 34" (so needed to be flat, not curved) and thought this was a really good deal compared to all the VA panels out there.

    i think this model is quite new, so not much price history around. Other places have it listed in the mid $500 to $600 range at the moment.

    IPS is usually a bit more than 34" VA panels, but i can't use VA because they can have black smearing -> bad if you plan on using it for coding

  I dont think this va monitor worth $479
  I just paid $600 for a second hand 32ud99 on gumtree , 1.5year warrenty left and the monitor looks amazing.

  The Scorptec support is amazing, I bought Viewsonic VP series, was faulty out of the box, proved it to them in Auburn store, and got my refund. No questions but had to show them whats wrong with it :D
