    Wow good specs!

  • good for xmp for sure
    you can get 4000 16 16 16 in au for $200

    both look to be b-die

    • I’m building my brother a gaming pc, already got a z590 and 11600k. Is this ram ram compatible with it?/xmp? Says AMD Ryzen on the Amazon title & doesn’t mention intel 🤔

      • +4

yeah man, generally each motherboard vendor has whats called a "QVL" that shows compatible ram
but id bet my left nut if you brought this and tossed it in the system it will run fine

as for the "for AMD" its because amd was very bad with ram the ryzen systems were very fussy but they ironed a lot of that out

as far as plug & play this is about the quickest ram you can get unless you spend double + and even the 500 buck kits are only a fraction better unless you overclock them

        • Thanks man, just bought a kit! Checked the QVL & yup you’re right. Thanks for sorting out the confusion!

Good deal, but I'd say it might be better to get 32gb 3600 cl16 for about $250

Granted it's not in stock, but I think the extra price is worth double the ram and only slightly worse timings, that no one will notice in real life usage.

This is sooo not worth $80 extra.

    • Did you end up working out the thermal issues with your 6700xt QICK?

      • Yeah 85c hotspot closed 79c hotspot open now at 1400-1500rpm which is no louder than my case fans. The extra 20mm from the higher PCIe slot did the trick.

  • B die…

Can you tell me if that's a bad thing ? i just ordered these last week , should i return these ?

      • +1

Generally speaking B-die is a good thing to have.

But there's grades of B-die as well.

3600CL14 is a pretty good grade of B-die.

I hope you're going to be overclocking your RAM. People don't usually pay the B-die premium if they're just going to use the XMP settings.

        • ill try OC-ing thanks for reply

  • Damn i miss 2x8gb ddr4 3600mhz being under $115..

    • Plenty available now and again…
