  • Thanks OP

What's people's experiences with First blood? Are they legit?

    • -2

By their name I definitely know that they play call of duty

    • It's through Amazon right, should be pretty set for refunds if there's an issue. I know nothing about First Blood though

      • Local store in Melb, bought a few things from them in the past (just small stuff like Mobos) without issue.

They used to have a drop off service where one of their staff would deliver your goods…

What's the performance of this vs RTX3080? Or am I not comparing them in the correct category?

    • same performance, but 3080 has DLSS

    • +1

Depends if you're planning on gaming or 3D CAD or video encoding or everything.

I encourage doing your own research on reputable tech review sites and YouTube channels (since you're sinking a lot of money)

    • I had a little looking into this as i settled with an 6800xt.

In terms of raw power, they are pretty similar.

The RTX series does edge out Radeon if you're looking to utilise DLSS or ray-tracing.

If you don't care/know what these 2 features are, you're pretty fine to pick up an 6800xt over an RTX.

Oh and of course, RTX are generally more efficient for Crypto mining. But I'm jus looking at it from a gaming perspective.

      • Not to mention the RTX will be a few hundred dollars more

Better Ray trace and DLSS vs 6 GB more vram.

If I were going to spend that much on a graphics card I'd just spend the 200 more and get the 6900xt it was availing this morning…

If I was going to spend on a graphic card, I wouldn't spend any more than $700 for a high end.

      • I tend to agree… id probably spend a bit more as my vega 64 is a good 8-900 bux and I'm thinking about selling that.

But 500 is usually my limit for graphics card… heck you get hey a whole high end console for 750 bucks

But in this case, and relevant to this deal, is just fork over the 10% more for the better card.

    • I agree
At this price point, $200 more for 6900xt makes more sense to me

    • All well and good but ti's out of stock my dude.

      • True, but I'm sure they will be another special.. specially given its been cheaper than the one I've posted.

      • still in stock for me at 5.21pm. Could add to Cart

        • can't check out though

      • Wait for another 6900xt deal at $1999 or even lower shouldn't take very long and unfortunately that makes $1799 for a 6800xt a bad deal

    • 6900XT isn't worth the $200 more

  • Didn't think this was a deal so I didn't bother posting it elsewhere haha, my bad. Glad it's good to some!

  • Seems pricey when we just had 69000XT for $1990 just a few.hours ago…🙄https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/648919

  • oh god…more temptation >.<
must resist urge but then all i need is a GPU to finalize my build…why oh why
