In the latest adventure in the Marvel’s Spider-Man universe, teenager Miles Morales is adjusting to his new home while following in the footsteps of his mentor, Peter Parker, as a new Spider-Man. But when a fierce power struggle threatens to destroy his new home, the aspiring hero realizes that with great power, there must also come great responsibility.       The base game is a download and I'm not sure if we will be able to dowoad it without a US ps account.

      EDIT- Just read that digital content is region locked so don't buy the ultimate edition from the US unless you have a US account.

          @nosey: I'm in the same boat, never played the original on ps4 and so want the ultimate edition. The Australian version is 88 dollars on Amazon still but I have a general rule of not paying more than 40-50 bucks for a game and usually wait until they are sub 30 before buying…which is probably why I don't actually have any ps5 discs yet.

          Ultimate edition is technically 2 games though so I might treat myself for father's day.

              @nosey: For all of us, maybe you should take one for the team and grab a copy, it'd be nice to play spiderman again.

              I kid, but man am i tempted but can't fathom spending this much on the amount of content it gives

        @pepto Technically true but you can still play the Remastered game on your Aus PS account. You just need to create a US account (takes about 3-5mins) on the PS5, redeem the code on the US store, then make sure you’ve set that PS5 to allow Console Sharing, then log back into your normal Aus account and start playing. Even works if you have old save files for the OG Spider-Man game and wanna resume.

    Usually these drop further in price as they age… The Spiderman game for PS4 I got for about $19 but that was quite a while later… It depends how patient you are.. Hehe

      There's a couple of twitter accounts to follow for stock go-live's. AustraliaPs5 & PS5Stockcomau both have bots running monitoring for stock changes.
      The scalpers also have bots running though so the sites get smashed pretty hard. Be logged in, and it's a race to get in before the stocks gone + luck to not get frozen out by the load.

      Have twitter notifications for these accounts turned on because the stock lasts < 5 minutes

      I picked one up this weekend from last Thursday's drops. Target dropped digital (which I missed), disc (which I also missed), then dual controller disc bundle (dumb luck I got one?)

    Might be worth phoning a few places. I called about 5 or 6 JB Hi-Fi's yesterday and one of them happened to have about 10 in stock. Just went down and picked it up. Took about 20 mins all up.
