        • +1

          :-)

        • Proxy doesn't work and hasn't for ages as far as I know, yea, US friend… Also loved saints row 3, I found it thoroughly enjoyable.

        • ok then try this KDE/KVM, RDP…. ;)

        • it doesnt work for the US store, but for the UK it does :)

  • Hmmh, THQ and their OZ price gouges..

    • I think it's ridiculous that a platform like steam can charge higher prices for those outside the US (particularly AU/NZ). Retailers bark on about overheads for all things in Australia, yet here we have a simple case of greed as Aus gamers will pay more since 1. Steam in nearly always cheaper than a store & 2. It's an all in one platform.

I love steam for what it is, but the pricing is shameful.

      • Steam doesn't get to decide the price that much, they'd have to price it around what they are told to. Also Russia quite often is a lot cheaper than the US.

  • Huh, that's weird.
Amazon has the same price: http://www.amazon.com/THQ-40640aints-Row-29-Download/dp/B004…

And I hate how SR2 is 3 years older but still had a shitload more in content compared to SR3.

Also THQ had SR 3 + season pass dlc ($20 by itself) for just $25 but that was ages ago.

  • Be warned that if you have Windows 7, Saints Row 2 may not work for you. Well, it will, but it will be unplayable (it runs at 'mega' speed, and to fix it is a pain in the backside). I have SR2 and suffer the before-mentioned issue. Note: Steam list supported system requirements as Windows XP or Vista. No mention of W7.

    • The SR2 port was done by another company hence its trash. There are a few ways to fix the speedup bug but the best is probably "Gentlemen of the Row". http://idolninja.com/sr2.php

  • To be honest, Saints Row 2 is not only a more complete package, but also has a lot more replayability (imo, of course) than Saints Row The Third.

For the money I would much rather SR2 than SR3.

    Good prices though.

Both great games. I was a little bit disappointed when I saw a bunch of things missing from SR3 but then I learnt it was made by a much smaller team than SR2. SR2 was also basically the same engine (and same map) as the first game so they didn't have to spend as much time on that.

Even though the SR2 PC port is absolute garbage its still a no-brainer for $3.75. Such an enjoyable game. :)

    • True, I'm talking about console (Xbox 360) versions of these games.

  • Crazy not to get SR2 at least at this price!
