These things should be $2 store items. Oh wait this one has a rechargable battery. $2.50 then

    $3 from Ikea + ~$3 Ladda rechargeable battery = $7. No deal.

    • Thanks, saved me $15.59 + Delivery

  • This isn't a bargain. Much cheaper option above as mentioned by dust.

    Say no to Spamazon.

    • FOMO trade

    And they're rubbish.

Coffee plunger/french press do much better job. Cheaper to buy & to run.

    • Confused. Coffee plungers are neither cheaper, nor can they froth milk. Happy to be corrected though…

      Edit: ooh really. That works?

      • I'm using a $7 kmart ine for the kids Fluffychino

Milk in the plunger & pump it a dozen times. Froths a treat.

      • I had one of the manual ones.
Worked really well until the glass jug got smashed.
I found that cold milk worked best. Warm from microwave even for 30 seconds wasn't as good

        • I've been using the Bodum one for 3 years. Mostly at work/partners since I've got a BES920 at home. 90sec in microwave gives decent results.

  • If you're looking to produce microfoam (for latte art) without a steam wand, the Subminimal NanoFoamer is the only one I'd recommend.

    • is that the one that started off on kickstarter or indiegogo? heard many good things. waiting for a deal to bite the bullet.

      • Yep - it was a Kickstarter device.

  • I’m very happy with my $2.90-3.90 one from Daiso. It has an 80s Japanese aesthetic.

  • Never got mine to froth properly but I find it good for beating my egg/water mix to use with my pasta maker.
