  Was about to ask the expiry date, thank you for including that in the post. But I recon for this price and expiry date, would be a hard sell.

    Honey is one of the few food products that can last for a long time and be safe to consume well after the best before date. Honey naturally contains anti bacterial properties.

    If stored well is known to last indefinitely. To clarify the best before date differs to an expiry date. An expiry date the product cannot be consumed past the date listed. Where as a best before date the product can safely be consumed after this date if stored correctly.

        Jan 2022 is long enough, can take 1-2 mth. If you want to longer expiry date, choose cw otherwise choose them. My 2 cents

  hmm antibacterial properties, i presume lab trials are that is applied to a wound, …. if you need an antibiotic go to the doctor …. unless you are eating this stuff for flavour …..

    Their reference to antibacterial properties is in terms of food spoilage, which usually occurs due to bacterial growth in other foods. Honey doesn't let bacteria grow in its medium easily, if at all, and therefore doesn't spoil, meaning a very very long edible shelf life.
