Apple iPhone XR 64GB $0 with $69/Month Telstra 80GB 12M Plan (New & Port-in Customers) in-Store @ JB Hi-Fi

170

Minimum cost $828 over 12 months.

You can get $10 credit/month by contacting Telstra support team.

Maybe better deal for anyone wants this phone. I reckon you can even sell it for more than $400.

I've started reading the $10 credit per a month is a bit of a hit and miss lately.

I think it would be wise to if you sign up not to expect it and if you get it, treat it as a bonus.

    • Even getting the stupid Telstra "message" system to connect you to an agent is almost impossible.

      • Or they tell you someone will call back next business day, which can mean anything between 3 days to whenever…

i always chat them on imessage on iphone

      • Yeah Apple Business Chat is awesome.

    • I haven't been able to get it, but trying now so fingers crossed

    • How do you go about getting $10 credit per month?

  • Yeah I reckon you can probably get about 450 if you sell it unopened.

So essentially paying just above 30 bucks a month for a 80gb. Pretty good.

If you’re a student you may be able to get a further 10% off the plan? Or something like that… not sure if applicable to promos like this.

    • The last few listings are ~$550 for BNIB 64gb iPhone XR - if you managed to list it with $0 final fees on eBay via Gumtree minus post would be about $530 cash. Better than the $400 Gift Card offer that's on right now. I'd be wanting to sell the phone in the next 10 days before the iPhone 13 comes out

If you are a student wouldn't you get the cheapest plan available and just use WiFi everywhere?

  • It's also worth mentioning that Handset offers not available over the phone. (for those of us stuck in VIC/NSW lockdowns)

  • 5g?

  • i think JBHI telstra plans are getting lower and lower with value
