The P5 isn't EOL, and both the P4a and P5 are still listed on the Google US store.
It's still getting support, but won't be sold anymore from Google.
That's not what they said, both phones are still being sold.
My pixel 5 has so far survived the toddler treatment. I feel like adding a case to its already proven robustness would be an insult at this time. Besides that is a POS phone besides the camera but damn it does take good piccies. Seriously tho, the back of the phones meterial it's chipped up and scratches but it's suffered some serious abuse. Also flat screens, man they are so much better.
I had one of these fabric cases on my p5 as it was getting damaged more easily than any phone I've owned before. Although this fabric case barely lasted a few months before threads started coming off and the button broke off.

I had one of these from JB or OW for $55? Lasted even less time, so switched to an eBay EFM Miami for $15. Much better, and protects the screen.
Case may drop further very quickly considering Pixel 5 is EOL now and Pixel 6 is going to be announced very shortly (next month). Google already pulled 4a duo and 5 from its US Store in advance.
