        Not interested in wifi.

Don't want Russian spies hacking into my cameras.

Say if you got this Camera and a spy did hack it wirelessly, what stops them from just hacking your regular wifi?

Or if you mean a spy hacking the camera remotely, wouldn't that imply your network security would have been breached first?

          • @OzGreed: Normally you can set a high level security password to keep safe . And also this is GENBOLT suggested .

I don't use wifi to stop the Russian hackers.

            a RADIUS server.

            • @MasterScythe:

              a RADIUS server.

@MasterScythe wow! You learn something new everyday!

What about WiFi de-authentication attacks? I don't think this camera can defend against

              • @OzGreed: You didn't ask what this camera can defend against, you asked what stopped people getting on my regular wifi.

If they are scanning for non broadcasting SSID's (easy, but you'd need to be a specific target), get past the MAC filter (easy), the RADIUS server (Hard) and brute force the password to the proxy's captive-portal (I run my own, but most routers with 'guest' mode support this) then, I guess they've earned some Wifi?

I've never made an enemy that skilled, nor determined.
