Not a good deal comparing to the $569 deal for 5inch pair two months ago

    • +1

If you want bigger than 5", it's a very good deal.

      • -2

        I prefer floor standing personally

    • Link?

    • +1

5 inches may not be sufficient for some people ;)

      • +3

Everyone can benefit from a few extra inches.

      • that's what she said

    • dumbest argument ever

you should buy this bmw 5 series instead of this bmw 8 series

      i mean they're both bmw cars…

  • Note that these are part of the older generation of Alpha's (only the 50 and 65 new gen have been released) and quite a few people have reported issues with the "auto standby" which can be very annoying.

    • +1

It can be annoying, but isnt a huge deal. When it detects a signal they turn back on quite reliably. I would definitely prefer the always on of the EVOs, but not once has it bothered me to the point of wishing I hadn't of bought them.

Focal is one of those expensive garbage speakers to flood the market, in addition to audioengine

    • What would you suggest then?

    • +1

Absolutely rubbish advice. Check any of the reviews and you will see these are great quality monitors for the price. They blow my KRK's out of the water for soundstage and imaging.

      • KRK would have more bass than this?

    • +1

You must be thinking of another brand, any evidence to back up that claim?

      • +6

You are right . Apologies on second look, this is focal not the focus range of speakers which was what I meant

        • +2

          lol was going to say.

Focal are a high quality monitor brand.

        • Should have gone to specsavers :-)

    • -1

Mate you have no clue in life ! Do you even know who Focal are? Probs not!

  • How do these compare to Fluid Audio FX8?

  • 1000 for speakers? do I really neeed these. my eric 4.5 are hardly loud enough but they have blue tooth. I don't really need this but it's a bargain….

    • +1

These speakers are designed for musicians and music producers.
