Shopping for a webcam for WFH purposes and came across this one. Not the cheapest ever, but notably cheaper than any other retailers at the moment.

At this price, it falls into the same ballpark as the lower quality C920, C922 & others, but offers much better quality in all reviews I’ve watched, particularly with regard to auto exposure and auto focus (here’s one such review - https://youtu.be/nCy6Ni1VKZM)

        "Clear image in medium light. Well-made monitor mount. USB cable is just long enough for a desktop PC (just over 1m?) and was plug-and-play with Windows 10.

        The built-in light gets quite bright, however the light is manually controlled and doesn't come on when the camera is active. The light also makes it impossible to see the activity light - not a deal breaker."

        Plus a robust privacy slider and very solid adjustable mounting system. It's no DSLR, but it's way better than expected when big brand cameras seem to require spending 3x the price for similar clarity.

      Don't get the C930E if you don't need widescreen recording. Theres a big FOV but quality is subpar.

    I'm having issues with getting 1080p 60fps to work consistently despite plugging into a USB 3.1 gen 2 type C port.

    Googling it seems like it's a common issues with no clear fix.

      got it to work with a type C to type A usb 3.0 adapter. Does not like my 3.1 gen 2 port which is definitely not faulty.

    Received this morning, initial thoughts;
    * Great white balance and natural colours
    * Good image quality
    * Crap software - not functionally, as it is good in that sense, but an absolute resource hog especially when using in conjunction with MS Teams

        Yes - you can still set the webcam up with all of the regular settings to get it displaying just how you want it.

    My stream cam from this deal arrived today and the package seal was already cut and the contents hastily wrapped up in sticky tape in a bag with all the internal packaging showing signs of wear and not sitting right.
    This is clearly not 'new' and I will carefully check the features to see if there is anything functionally wrong with it.
    Dodgy.

    Very unhappy, two days ago I got this parcel, but, is a used cam rather than a brand-new one, I can 100% confirm someone used this cam before. The packaging was opened when I got it. I tried to send an email to their service team, no feedback, and yesterday I called their hotline and had waited for 1 hour, one guy from their service team told me you can go to EB Game Chatswood to change to a new one. And I just phoned EB Game Chatswood, their staff told me I cannot be until NSW unlocks. I searched the used one price on eBay, only values $50, but I paid $167 to EB Games.

    Hey guys, my webcam just arrived which I purchased earlier this week & to my surprise it’s a “On Display” model !! I’m not to sure what the price is of a “display” model going for but do feel a bit ripped off thinking it would be a brand new item only to discover it is a used item :(
