XFX Radeon RX 6700 XT QICK 319 12GB GDDR6 GPU $1149 + Delivery @ PLE

390

My understanding is this card sits between 3060ti and 3070.

It has been cheaper before. But this might be the cheapest card you can buy now for the performance and quality make.

got a PowerColor Radeon RX 6700 XT Red Devil from PCCG for 999, the current price is even higher than April.

      no one saw this coming

      • +17

some saw eth rising (again) and PoS delayed (again) and urged people to buy, but they were relentlessly downvoted for being crypto shills or not 'hodling' or something.

        • +9

The best one was " HODL, the markets gonna be flooded with cards soon." And this was in July. Wonder where they are now.

          • +4

@samsal46: Still HODLing… Lol it'll improve one day

            • +2

              @scud70: Someday somewhere..

            • -1

              @scud70: HODL till next gen

            • @scud70: Yep just have to wait till 2024 to see 2021 cards hit their advertised RRP

i bought the 6700 xt for $1170 the other day. Then the very next day I snagged a 3070ti for $1400 (ebay afterpay deal). if you're willing to spend a little more and be patient I suggest waiting. you can still get a better card for a "Bargen" (if you can call it that in the current market).

then again idk wtf the market is doing and it might be better to grab anything you can right now in case of prices increase again. 6700 xt is very solid card from my research.

    It’s madness.
I bought that Zotac 3070 for about $999 almost a year ago.
I was originally so keen on the RDNA2 cards but then I found out the size when they launched…
This generation of cards is difficult for ITX builders (2.8 or 3.0 slot width)

    • I hear MSI manufactured at least three 3060ti minis, so that's something to be happy about.

      • +1

Probably more than 3, more likely in the 100s of thousands. Lol

        • Those cards are pretty stubby anyway. It’s the 3080 that’s difficult with the XC3 being about the only ITX friendly card

  • Although I want one, I'm not buying a 6700 xt for anything over $1000…… until I can't wait any longer…

These prices are bonkers. I'm sticking with my 2070 Super for many years to come.

    • 2060S and its just good enough I can sit back, afford a starbucks coffee and smile as it quiltly mines away to help pay for the 4XXX in 2022…

    • Bought my 2070s in August 2020 for $700 and people laughed at me. One of the best decisions I made. Been gaming peacefully for over a year now without the hunger games to snag an overpriced 30x series.

I thought this was a portable triple hotplate.

  • 6700 xt equivalent to RTX 3060?

    • +11

A lot better than the 3060. A tiny bit better than the 3060 Ti.

  • Crazy, lucky got my 68xt at rrp

    • where did you get it?

      • launch day @ PCCG :p

  • is it useful for mining?

    • +1

      About 47mh/s so not bad

But a $800 1080ti does the same…so depends if it's just mining or not plus warranty etc

      • Thank you, you saved me

      • 1080ti is way worse in mining, it only does 39mh at 180w, 6700xt does 46mh at 114w, without modding bois

        • MorePowerTool can get it to do this at ~80W. I just unlocked lower power limit and lowered the minimum GFX voltage.

    • +1

Mine does 46.6MH/s at 80W. It's not worth it as a pure mining card since the 5700 and 5700 XT do around 55MH/s for the same price (used), but its fine for gaming and mining.

    • +1

where is the 6800 xt at that price ?

      • Back in time at the 6800 XT launch available for 1 microsecond.

All you need is a time machine and bots software to get a 6800 XT at that price.

    • +3

All you do on this site is write the same comment on every graphics card post. Don't you realise that you can't buy any of these cards at RRP?

What about you contribute and find us some deals instead then?

      • His obviously in denial and cannot fathom the fact that prices are not coming down.

  • +1

Obviously these are crap prices. But this was about the same price as around May. So in retrospect and considering all the other increases for other gfx cards, it’s “cheap”.

  • -1

These are bad price, it launched at $900, 27% higher than launch price is not a bargain

  • I bought a sapphire nitro+ 6700xt for $1200 to game and occasionally mine. I get 46-47Mh/s at 110W

The triple fan design is dead quiet and gaming performance is excellent for 1440p.
Only gripe is AMD's software which tends to have hiccups here and there. It's a common issue that you'll have to roll back to older drivers for the card to be compatible with certain games ie.. Horizon zero dawn

  • Ordered yesterday. Received invoice but still haven't got an idea of when it will come.
    Will update every day.

    • mine took 25 days

    • I got an update last night to come out of Melbourne.

  • +1

Ordered Sunday. Was supposed to still be in WA. I've received it in Sydney today!
