Found this today looking around the Samsung EPP site - I think it's a pricing error but my order went through…?

    alas I missed out, anyone get a spare 45mm in Sydney, I'd be very happy to take it off their hands,even with a small reward for the trouble. active word being small there.

      Yes, how dare they not sell their products for a 95% discount and a loss.

      • Still can be an error. Selling for 10% of the actual price sounds like an error to me.

          yes but if they honour it for one person then they have no reason not to do it for everyone. If it's an error than cancel everyone's order

          • @nmachine: Well they DO have a reason NOT to do it for everyone - a 90% loss in revenue is a pretty good reason. They might be willing to take the hit on a few or those few lucky ones just got through the process before someone realised and pulled the plug.

              @10101010101: I think a company the scale of Samsung can take the hit. My point is that if is a mistake then cancel for everyone, or honour for everyone, thats the fair thing to do.

                @nmachine: If your order got cancelled, you're out of the game. I understand your logic, but if other people's orders are still being prepared and you're going to complain to Samsung, you're risking their orders getting cancelled too. Move on with your life.

                Unfortunately my order got cancelled, but I'm not surprised honestly.

                @nmachine: I don't think fairness is relevant to this, except to say that it's fair to expect that you are entitled to a refund when your order is cancelled. The fact that someone else got lucky doesn't change that entitlement.

                But if you think Samsung is now obligated to intercept any orders that did get fulfilled just because most people didn't get theirs, that's just you not wanting to feel left out. Calling it "not fair" is like everyone buying a lottery ticket and complaining that it's not fair that only one person won. You were never owed anything but the refund, and your wording makes you sound really entitled.

                FWIW, my order was cancelled too but I don't begrudge those lucky ones who got theirs.

  • The Samsung offer is not one of the options available in the 'Rewards and Offers' section of my online banking. I am a homeloan customer, and as someone identified above it sounds like you need to have a credit card account.

  • order 1 black watch and 1 bronze watch. Recieved an email for the black watch as a pricing error and refunded. Bronze is dispatched! not behd.

    • yeah i got that as well - i havent had anything delivered by startrack recently…not sure if that delay is realistic or just a buffer…

      • maybe due to that labor strike last week as well. My S21 order is also delayed.
