Just saw this on amazon, and this has a $6.99 off which brings down the price to $8.99. Also has an additional 5% coupon. Don't mind 3 cables at that price
just be mindful it s 0.3+1+2M
Reviews dont look good unforunately
Reviews aren't good for a random "fell off thy back of a truck" brand?! Heaven forbid!
just bought 1 set….for $8 I think it was worth the risk of one or more of them not working
Is it worth the risk of damaging the device it's connected to though?
Protection circuitry in the device and a decent charger should cover off this risk.
That's actually not quite right - famously, a Google engineer fried his Chromebook Pixel 2 whilst testing a bunch of these.
The article is from 2015 initially, but he kept testing.

A few years back I had my LG V20 connected via a cheap USB cable to an Arlec powerboard (had USB ports).
It somehow managed to melt the cable (USB C side) which resulted in the cable being fused with the LG V20 charging port.
In this scenario which would you assume is at fault?
Also took a punt. Prime returns should sort us out if they're trash.
Expired, back to $15.95 with 5% off for me…
Have a set of these, been charging mainly phones but also Thinkpads without any trouble.
