      I'd like the discount too, my wifes Apple Iphone 4S just carped it - for the 3rd time in a year and 3 months, it is now out of warranty and i'd like to buy something for her before she buys another iphone 4s.

          My mistake, we have an iphone 4. The 4S came out last quarter 2012.

          Ironically, I plugged her phone into the charger and it started working. Seems her car charger was broke. So when she told me it was fried, that wasn't quite true.

          So now got a win 7 phone coming that I don't need :P Well, it has faster wireless n so i'll just use it instead of my LG Optimus One.

          Told the wife to get the extended iphone warranty too, but she doesn't want to get it.

    Decent deal but still a SLIMEY company.. New buyers beware, check this out and other feedback then assess if you want to take your chances with this unscrupulous company..

    Save the headache and pay the extra $20 for decent customer service and piece of mind that they won't screw you for shipping delays, incorrect specs without fair compensation etc

      I ordered a few things from COTD last year and all items came pretty quickly with no issues so I hope there will be no issues here.

      At least with a phone they cannot get the 'specs' wrong!

        Perhaps..

        I wonder how many Vodafone and Telstra customers will unknowing purchase this phone only to find it will only access 2G… Hardly worth getting a smartphone and only having access to 2G. Hopefully cotd will refund those who make this mistake..

        My better half wanted one too… I bought one and we will decide later who will get it…
        I got used to Android and Android has so many apps…I am also tempted to buy LG Optimus Black or LG Optimus X2. These look like really good Android phones and can be bought for approx. $275 and $310 respectively.

      To be fair, this was posted thursday night so the earliest they could have sent it would be Friday. Considering the reputation of COTD I did not expect them to do so. And since today is a holiday (in Melbourne anyway) it might not be sent today either.

      But to answer your question, I ordered at 12:30AM on Friday so they had all Friday to send it but my status is still "Payment received" as well.

        I would guess they have been swamped with this deal so don't be surprised if delivery is not until the week 19-23 Mar.

    anyone know whether they start processing the orders after receiving paymant or after the deal ends?
    i really hope they process the orders in the order it was made.
    i remember 2 years ago i waited so long i forgot i even made an order

      I'm fairly sure they will process this in one go…thus nothing will be looked at until tomorrow. If they are being very 'COTD-like' then they don't even have the stock on hand and will place a bulk order, it will be sent to their warehouse, then they will ship out to us (this is worst-case scenario). Best case is they have a nice shiny palette of LG phones sitting in their warehouse waiting to be shipped this week.

      Either way best to forget you ordered and be happily surprised when you find a new phone in your letterbox in the not-too-distant future!
