    Is it just me that finds it strange when manufacturers are putting these G7 chips into a laptop that also has an MX330? It should be pretty similar to the Iris XE built in…

      Good thing the price difference between the Iris and MX330 in this deal is 50 cents. I'm sure there are some cases where one benefits the other.

      yes but the mx330 does have much better drivers than the Iris, it is odd combo indeed

    It's good to see 512GB becoming more standard in entry level laptops but 8GB still sucks!

    Anyone know of a similarly priced laptop in a smaller and lighter form factor?

    Happy to sacrifice on processing power, ram and ssd. (I’m currently using a HP Spectre 13 with a Core i5-4200U, 4GB of RAM, a 128GB SSD, 1,920 x 1,080 display, and I’m very happy with the laptop. My only issues are a noisy fan and the wifi dies each time there is a windows update!)
