This deal applies to users on the Stake ASX Beta platform waitlist.

From the terms and conditions:

• The promotion provides new customers who are currently on the ASX beta waitlist with two free US-listed stocks when they fund their Stake account using payment methods provided by Stake within Stake’s platform.

• This promotion allows for registered Stake users (a “Stake user”) to receive two free shares for their first funding.

Eligibility Criteria

In order to qualify for this you must meet all of the following:

• Does not have an existing funded individual or non-individual (Company, SMSF) Stake account before 2:30 pm AEST on 23rd September 2021.
• Currently have a valid email registered on the Stake ASX beta waitlist.
• Uses the promotional code BETA when creating their new Stake account.
• Fund their account within 24 hours or a time limit set by Stake of first viewing the Portfolio/Dashboard page after completion of creating their account on the Stake App and/or Website.

EDIT:
I received one share of SOLO after signing up. I emailed support regarding the credit of the second free stock, they confirmed it should get credited along with the extra two points on the Beta Waitlist after the 5th of October.

  I got this email and tried earlier today. Don’t bother I signed up and got a ‘mystery stock’ which was one share of SOLO Electrameccanica group currently trading at 3.44 USD. So I’ve basically lost money on the FX and tax set up fee they charge.

  The T&C's do state you can get a share valued up to $150usd but more commonly users received less than $10usd.. Deleted the email. Will wait for $3 domestic brokerage though, because fcuk commsec.

    nope, they make their money from the FX and transfer fees. Also the interest they make on cash held in your accounts.
