  • Tempting… However my experience with ReoLink & BlueIris hasn't been great… I've got 10 onvif camers a mix of hikvision, dahua & one single PTZ Reolink and its the only one that constantly drops off..

Looks like a cool camera though! Decent price.. Will most likely wait for the Amazon release so returns are easier if I run into the same issue 😅

Are you using the rtsp feed or the rtmp? I have problems with the rtsp on my reolink but no issues with rtmp.

Anyone know if you can get the person / vehicle data into home assistant?

      • I've tried various combinations.. always seems to fall in a heap.. but I will double check that just in case. ty 🙏

      • Hi, PoE and WiFi versions work with home assistant.

        • Do they have RTSP and RTMP ? Thank you.

          • @No: PoE and WiFi versions support RTSP and RTMP.

    • +1

      yeah.. nvm purchased. lol

  • POE version coming up at $159?

    Nvm, added code and works

    • Cheers

  • 2 lens, but does it have 2 motion sensors?

    • +1

      Yes, two sensors

  • I pre-ordered this last week at $159.79 $151.80, forgot I had a smaller coupon. Damn, should have held out though.

  • How does the dual lense work, does this present one wide video stream or two separate streams.

    • Hi, check this video out. Hope it helps.

      • thanks, so its two separate streams in which the app makes them almost look like one by stacking side by side.

  • Are they IR spotlights or normal spotlights?

    • IR Spotlights.

    • Hi, they are normal spotlights. Sorry for the mistake.

      • Oh great even better!

I'm tempted but I just bought 5 Argus 2E and already have two Lumus.

        Maybe next time

Reolink Duo Satisfies All Your Fantasies

Rep when you sell cameras this might not be the best slogan to use.

    • +3

Could you send me a private message and explain why?

    • Hey No, yes please explain in detail. Some graphically detailed examples may help, even better if from personal experience

  • Thanks coupon worked a treat. I have 2 other Reolink cameras that work a treat

  • What version of the nvr is required to support these please? I have a v2 but ai version with car and person detection I believe needs v3.

If this needs at least v3, would be good to call this out up front

    • You can use V2. Note: Battery and 4G version can't connect to nvr

  • Can I store the video on my NAS with this one?
    https://reolink.com/au/product/reolink-duo-wifi/

    • +1

Yes, PoE and WiFi both can work with NAS

      • And is the Argus also okay to record on my NAS?

  • Do these come as a kit with the nvr as well?

    • Nope, it's just a camera, not a kit, so no nvr :)

      • Any chance of a deal on a kit including the nvr?

        • +1

Not in a short time. You might buy an nvr if you need it, RLN8-410 20 off just $279.99 now, supports up to 8 cams at the same time.

  • Does the POE version integrate ok with 3rd Party NVRs or NAS, Specifically Synology? From what I gather in the video you linked it should just show as a widescreen of the two cameras, but I would like confirmation that's the case, if you have it? Cheers.

    • Hi, I would recommend you to use Reolink's own NVR. Though the poe supports 3rd party nvrs and software, there might be incompatibility issues.

      • Copy, already have the Synology setup and working with 6x Reolinks with no problems. Might wait and see how other users go testing this specific camera out with 3rd Party devices. Cheers.

  • Can you mount these upside-down (from a ceiling)? Or is the angle fixed and needs to be mounted on walls?
    Cheers

    • I was looking at the same thing as well.
From the specs it can be mounted on the ceiling but the mounting arm seems to be a bit too long that way. Would be great if they make a shorter arm specifically for ceiling mount.

  • Hi, you can mount the camera on the wall or the ceiling because there are two holes for mounting bracket, one above and one below, check Gallery & Specs

    • Does all reolink cameras use similar mounting hole locations? For example I have a RLC-410. Would the holes on this duo match the 410

      • Hi, they are different. Check what's in the box to compare.

  • Looking for a deal on the RLK8-820D4-A kit please

  • Anyone received the camera yet?

It was sent early which is awesome but the tracking hasn't moved for a week which seems unusual for Toll.

  • Hi, please write to the support team, they surely will help you out: https://support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

    • Got it today, so far it seems like a great camera. Thank you.

      • Cheers
