ToolPRO Platform Trolley 200kg $39.99 + Shipping / Store Pickup @ Supercheap Auto

1230

The trolley is back in stock at SCA, just like the last deal a month ago found here: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/648101. Hurry as stock seems more limited than the last deal.

It has served me well from moving heavy aquariums to a 7kg front loader. The trolley supports up to 200kg and has pretty good reviews on their website. Original price says $69.99.

You shouldn't wash fish with the washing machine.

    • I couldn't pick up in store on their website (no stock), but I could pickup instore for free delivery from their ebay account though which is good but maybe a risk if there actually is no stock?

    • Thanks got one on eBay. Hopefully honoured!

    • I hope it went though too!

    • Can't use the $10 club member credits via eBay purchase.

  • Copped on eBay thanks @OP

Too bad the SCA eGift cards have been removed from Suncorp Rewards and are currently under "system maintenance" on the Entertainment Book…

    • Oh what. Since when? They had good discounts on the Suncorp rewards. (BCf too)

    • Only just remembered to reply to this comment…

SCA gift cards are back on Suncorp, 8%
BCF are back again also, at 9%

Probably since a week or so now….

      • Oh wow cheers for the heads up! :)

  • Moving a 7kg front loader with a 200kg capacity trolley is a bit overkill don’t you think?

    • +6

So your 7kg front loader is only 7kg?

    • 7kg front loader was actually 55kg. It's a new Samsung front loader.

This is perfect to move my mother-in-law into the back of the 4WD this weekend.

  • how do you steady a heavy aquarium for moving with this trolley?

    • I emptied all the water and line the bottom of the trolley with a few layers of yoga mats :) My aquariums are 60cm, so it was a perfect fit on the trolley :).

  • Should the swivel wheels go on the back (closest to you) or the front of the trolley?

    • I'm not entirely sure but I put the swivel wheels in the front, fixed wheels at the back (where the handle is). Reasoning being that its easier to turn on the spot.

    • +1

      Swivel wheels in front:

      https://engineering.stackexchange.com/questions/29005/why-is…

I had the same question when I put mine together haha :)

      • I put the swivel wheel at the front, makes the Scooter more manoeuvrable

  • How do you lift the washing machine onto the trolley?

    • Bend our knees… save your back

    • I had someone who helped me lift it on and off the trolley, it's pretty straight forward.

    Worst. Treadmill. Ever.

It’s a great four wheel drive scooter though

This really helped me clearing out my garage.

  • Still waiting for mine to be delivered from the previous deal.

    • Same here (in Melbourne). Ordered on 31-8-21 via eBay. I going to leave it another week and ask for a refund if not received by then.

      • Mine was scheduled to be delivered last week, and again, nothing arrived. In Melbourne too.

Perhaps ours is in the same batch. Have you had yours delivered? Or did you go with the refund?

        • I asked eBay to look into for me a week or so ago. They put it on hold for a few days and decided to give me a refund today.
They explained it as follows in the email:
"Unfortunately, we didn't receive valid tracking information from the seller. We're sorry you had a problem with your purchase."

          • @bgazer: There's a chance your trolley might still get delivered, and you'll have a free one! Fingers crossed.

Mine was purchased from site and still pending delivery from Auspost.

            • @tatasauce: Mine has been marked as "Received and ready for processing" since 2/9/21 by Australia Post.
It never left SCA and I'm sure it never will, but who knows.

Mine has been an absolute godsend for getting all my online shopping from my lobby and up the lift into my apartment. I didn’t know I needed one until I got it.

    • +1

Agreed, mine was too for moving. I also use it a few days in a week to cart up stuff to my apartment, or moving large piled cardboard down to the large bin downstairs :)

FYI - On SCA website, I couldn't find stock for the nearby stores but when purchased through eBay, can pick up stocks at the nearby store 🤷‍♂️ Save $9 via Click and Collect

    • No longer able to do CnC on ebay and select my local store.

      • Stock ran out. Just got a call from SCA that I'm picking the display one, not new one 🤔 should I get a refund and get Bunnings one instead but Bunnings one doesn't look as strong/good.

        • May be if you ask for some discount, if they accept it then it might sweeten the deal.

          • @htc: Already picked up, still in good condition. Can't complain 😁

        • yes, Bunnings one is 150kg, while SCA is 200 kg, the next level up is 300 kg at bunnings but cost 69.

          • @htc: Thanks man! 200kg is enough for what I need 👍

I was a little disappointed with how this was shipped (from the last deal).

There was no box for it. Mine just had a flimsy plastic wrapping, and came scuffed and dented due to this.

I bought one last night from the Supercheap Auto website. Joined their Club Plus for $5 and was given a $10 credit. That takes $5 off the price (so approximately half of the $9.99).

So if you do it that way, you can get it for $44.98 delivered.

For anybody that has access to Reward Gateway through their work, you can buy gift cards for 10% off. So the final cost of my purchase (with a $40 gift card which cost $36) was $41 delivered. Not too bad to pay $1 more for delivery IMHO.

    • The supercheap club $5 and get $10 i take if already a member cant get a free $5 again?

      • Do you mean you already have a login but not part of the club? You'd need to look at the terms and conditions on the website, but I'd be guessing that if you do sign up, you'd still be eligible.

        • Already an account login and member, but can you not just use another email or do they check with your address or phone number etc.

You always here of multiple accounts from other places but not sure if this be same.
          Probably not.
I just noticed comments above but maybe they was not a member already.

  • Has anyone received their trolley or got a tracking number that actually works? I received shipping notification and tracking number a week ago but it has not been picked up or updated since.

    • +1

Don't hold your breath. Mine was order back in August, received tracking number 31st August, and till today there is still no delivery.

Sent a few enquiries through the SCA web form but did not get any replies from them.

Saw that there is stock at my local store, so I persisted with the Online Chat this time round (takes a long time to get connected to an agent) but they would not make arrangements for me to pick up the item. Basically said there's nothing they can do. No apologies. Piss poor support service.

Most retailers still view online orders and support as a sideshow, and do not invest much in their online channels.

If I hadn't paid by gift card I would cancel the order and buy a trolley from Bunnings. The refund would be to a gift card, and I don't shop at SCA often.

Anyway, good luck! I'm sure it will arrive one day, let's hope it's not when summer is gone, when your project is done and dusted. Heh.

      • -1

That's not really promising but it's the reason I bought it on eBay instead of their online store so it shouldn't be any issue getting my money back.

        • Ya you should be fine. SCA will refund if you ask for it.

Let's hope when ours arrive they would be in good condition. Reports of damaged trolleys through these deliveries would be our next concern.

          • @tatasauce: So I messaged them on eBay this morning about how the parcel has not been picked up since being marked as sent on the 8/10. They replied a few hours later saying that it has been booked for collection tomorrow. We'll see what happens tomorrow.

  • I received mine last week but found that there is one bolt missing. There are four per wheel.

    • was the trolley boxed?

      • Kind of. It was wrapped in cardboard and taped. So the sides were exposed.

        • I received mine today and I must have got lucky. It was sent from the East Maitland store and they did a really good job wrapping it in a ton of bubble wrap. The wheels weren't attached and still in a box so there was nothing sticking out. Didn't have any scratches or damage on mine.
