  • Are Ultimate Home cards included as part of the deal? Although they are not in the catalogue picture but the wording used says Ultimate gift cards…..

    • Possibly if you can find the advertising banner that shows it instore.

    • I too would like to know this !

      • One store I visited has the same pictured cards as the catalogue shows.

    • +1

I would assume it is part of the deal, because:

      • The catalogue states you get 2000 bonus points when you purchase a $50 or $100 Ultimate Gift Card. In previous deals, Coles would state the included cards in the large bold text.
      • The only notable exclusion listed in the catalogue is the $30 gift card denomination.
      • Unlike the previous deal mentioned above, the catalogue does not state Excludes all other Ultimate gift cards not mentioned above in the fine print.

If the bonus points are not loaded onto your account, get onto Flybuys and get them to manually credit the bonus points.

I just realized I purchased the TCN cards, my mistake. At least I will get the coles cash back through CBA

  • Just wondering if Limit of 5 gift cards per Flybuys account applies to supplymentary card for flybuys? Thanks.

    • +1

Yes, because it's per account not per card

      • I see thank you.

  • Anyone know how many giftcards JB allow when purchasing?

    • +2

Keep in mind JB Hi-Fi processes these gift cards in-store as cards (not gift cards), because they are EFTPOS gift cards and are not directly issued by JB Hi-Fi.

To answer your question, there is no known limit for the number of cards you can use in one transaction. I think the record is 63!

However, if you are going to walk into a JB Hi-Fi store with a large number of cards at a busy time during the day, at least do the staff a favour and “prepare” the cards for payment beforehand (e.g. removing cardboard, scratching the protective panel covering PINs). I didn’t “prepare” my two Ultimate gift cards when I purchased something from JB Hi-Fi last year, and it really slowed down the checkout process.

      • +1

Oh wow thanks for that. That's good to know and yes I always prepare ahead of time for them since they are doing you a favour.

      • +1 for your typing.

  • Picked up 10 x $50 ultimate student cards on Wed using 2 flybuys accounts. Points have already been credited.

    • I bought 5 yesterday and scanned Flybuys in self checkout. Would like to ask is it normal if still now credited after 24 hours🙈 thanks

      • +1

Flybuys points earned as part of this promotion (as well as the base Flybuys points) should be credited to your Flybuys account around 7pm AEDT on the day after the transaction (i.e. in your case, this evening).

        • Thanks mate. I will check and maybe go to store if nothing happened

  • Hurstville Coles always sold out, never able to get one.

    Ultimate Home cards included?

    • +2

Probably. No one has confirmed this is part of the deal, so it may be up to you to find out!

    • +3

Home card is included already tested

  • Can anyone confirm if JB sells Apple giftcards?

  • Would anyone happen to know how many cards Kathmandu accept as part of a purchase?

    • Probably unlimited, unless they don't like money.

      • I called up a local Kathmandu and they said that they weren't aware of any specific limit.

  • Would this count towards the 4x weekly shop for bonus flybys points?

    • +1

No. Purchases of gift cards have never counted towards those kind of bonus Flybuys points offers for me.

      • Bugger I thought it might since others were saying it affects your minimum spend offers in the future

        • +2

No, unfortunately you get the worst of both worlds when you participate in bonus Flybuys points offers on gift card purchases.

        • +1

It does NOT count towards qualifying shop. However, it DOES affect your future minimum spend offers.

  • -1

    Anyone got their points?

    • +2

Yes. Did you buy the right ones?

      • -1

Yes I did. The Ultimate Gift for Kids. I made sure I doubled and tripled check. Funny thing is my spend has not showed up yet. So not sure what's going on.

        • +1

Did you buy a $30 one? I bought the $50 Ultimate Kids one on Friday and points came through on Saturday; I forgot to scan my Flybuys card so promptly went to the service desk after to get them to add it in.

          Did you scan your flybuys?

          • @kerfuffle: Yeap bought the $50 ones because it mentions it excludes $30. So I did everything right and even double and triple checked the colours and values.
