    Got this for my son in the US a couple of years ago (for US$15). It's a nice toy that you can connect to your PC via USB and then enter your child's name. Then Scout will say the name in songs, etc. (Only a select set of anglo names are available but there are nick names like CuteyPie or Sweety you can use too). You can also customise Scout to say your child's favourite food, animal, etc.

    There is a neat lullaby feature which will play soothing music for around 5 minutes. A great teddy alternative I think!

    I bought one for my violent 7 year old. Simple music and lullabys calm her. She can't hurt herself with this.

    After securing one online, I just got an email saying they can't get any more stock so have cancelled my order. Strange cause when I placed the order it was in stock.

    I got a call from a BigW rep asking for my name and street address to verify who I am before she would talk to me, but I had no way to verify who she was, as she wouldn't tell me anything about my order without me giving all that info. Ended up in a stalemate and they sent me an email instead.
