    This isnt really a great deal if this price seems to show up almost every couple of weeks?

    Can be somewhat misleading to the uninitiated.

    Certainly laughable that the RRP is claimed to be $170!

    I would recommend anyone buying to use a fake or landline number because Ugg Australia have started spamming its customers about third party companies. No consent gained either

          I've personally bought two rugs over separate orders - very happy with the product both times.

          Having said that, I did find two spam texts (1st Sep, 14 Sep):
          "Get 50% off all Made by Ugg Australia boots! Perfect for this Father's Day at XXXX

      If this quality of rug was available all the time for this price, others would go out of business I think. Is there any other comparable rug of similar quality and price that you can point to at this time? If not, then this is the best deal available, regardless if it is posted every couple of weeks. I surely havent been able to find something at this price point and quality that is aussie made. I've bought 2 from them in the last 6 months and they're great, however I am genuinely asking to see if there actually is any competition out there that I could also explore and may make this 'deal' seem less of a deal just because it is posted every couple of weeks at this price.

        We went through this last time. I am comparing this post to their other posts, not to other businesses.

        I don't see how it can be considered a bargain when its this price every few weeks.

          Yes we did go through this last time, however from memory I also asked whether you were able to point to a better deal for similar quality rugs at this price point. From memory this request was not answered or avoided. My question is not just to you, but to anyone who doesn't find this a deal. Find something better or even similar first. Lets compare. Otherwise anyone looking to pay full price for this rug is most welcome to do that. We saw similar rugs at IKEA a couple of months back, but they were in 3 digit figures. I cant find anything comparable, but I'm open to be proven wrong (still waiting).

      wtf? i've bout Ugg boots from Ugg Australia before … (yes yes i know not this product … but same company)

      I've never received and spam msgs in over 6 months since my first purchase …
      i've never even received any emails from them apart from the confirmation emails.

      to be honest .. i haven't even received any marketing emails or sms from them about upcoming specials … and looking at the msgs which you shared … i'm actually kinda disappointed i haven't received any communication !!

    Ignore the comments above. I ordered one of these for the first time last deal and it is great quality. I’m tempted to buy another - $60 delivered is an absolute bargain and I’m happy to be reminded of such deals regularly.

    I ordered 2 rugs last time round. My order was promptly delivered and I was thrilled with my rugs - care taken with packaging and in their own storage bags. The rugs were of premium quality and I was so impressed, I bought 2 more. Highly tempted to buy more this time round.

    Really happy with product and even more to support an Australian business in the current climate. The rugs are quality plus and the real deal. Highly recommended product and experience.

    Purchased 2 rugs last time one was 101cm and one was 96cm. Now have 8 rugs. Pleased with them all.

    Also have purchased 3 x boots which are going strong too.

    I'm still picking bits of wheat ? from the wool whilst watching tv. Any hints of getting rid of that? I only find it when digging in the wool but it's a pain to pull out.

      We are a total by-product,
      We get the Sheepskins from the Food Industry, therefore Abattoirs use the Sheep for food and we salvage the Sheepskin, otherwise they would end up in the Bin…

    Please do not supply them with your real mobile number, they will add you to a spam marketing list.

    The prior deal from a month ago was still working working until a few days ago https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/649990, now you have raised your RRP by $5, and the "special" price by 50 cents.

    The last deal said only 100 were available, yet it went well beyond that magically.
    I am 100% for supporting Australian business wherever possible, you seem hell bent on trying to manipulate that angle, and take advantage of the good will on offer.

    All the best to you, but please have a good look at some of your practices, as I think you're misleading, and the supplying of phone details to 3rd party marketing while not stating that in the order process is unforgivable.

    Just wanted to comment that their after sales support is superb and the quality of the Ugg (compared to one I bought on eBay) is far superior. I haven’t been added to any spam sms list.

    Used to be a sheepskin retail. In my memory, the whole sale price for the biggest long wool rug is about $60+gst. This is not a bad price.

    This is my second order today as I purchased one last year. I am happy with the quality and, it was ~115cm!

    I am hoping that I will get a similar length rug this time.

    OP can you make it happen? i.e. > 110cm.

    I bought one of those rug about a year ago and the truth is it is really a good product and the fact that it is Australian made, even better. It is all about supporting an Australian company. Ozbargain is just a site for promoting their wonderful product and if Ugg Australia chooses to promote their new stock every month, then in my eyes the consumers are winners. The negative comments and the nick pickers are really just annoying and ruining the buying experience for everyone. If you think it is not a bargain then don't buy it, if you think the ads are the same, don't read it, if you bitch about an increase of 10c, 50c or a $1 here or there, then do everyone a favour and slap yourself and visit your GP and ask for psychotic medication. Ugg Australia is just like any other company trying to win you over to support them pre and post Covid. How ever, if you think their products does not live up to your expectations then as a consumer, you have the freedom, as mentioned above to not buy it, it is as simple as that. If you think you have been spammed, send a text message to remove your number or let the representative here know and they will assist you. The representative here seems genuine to help. I am not affiliated with the company, I'm just a buyer like everyone else, but after reading so many stupid comments from other items on Ozbargain it makes me wonder whether some regular shoppers on Ozbargain are on the spectrum of stupidity, tight arses or plain ignorance. Keep the bargains going Ugg Australia! Your product is exceptional.
