Not as nice as the Razers but can't complain with those specs at this price

    HP Omen 15.6"

    Shouldn't that be 66.6" ?

    • I had a bad feeling you would get negged for that…

      • +2

Is there any comment that jv doesn't get negged for?

    Max Q

    • Max Q and only 5 hours battery, jebus. usually the Max-Q's are up in the 8s, no?

  • If this was 14inch I would buy in an instant

No way you'd find these specs in a 14" at this price

Get a 3060. These 2070s RTX performance is woeful.

    • True, thats why all their Razer's ones all gone! Now can only wish coming up Black Friday & Cyber Monday will be even bigger discounts

      • Those prices will be hard to beat. You're getting a Microsoft discount and an eBay discount.

Probs around 15/20% better than the 1660ti razer that sold out immediately for 200 less. Also has a 512gb SSD vs 256 albeit slightly poorer screen and build quality.

People value thin and light a lot more than I thought they would.

I'd be happy to lug an inch thick laptop around for cooling and performance.

        • Lugging around a chonky laptop isn't great.
My current laptop (Alienware m15 R1) weighs in at about 2.2kg and I find it acceptable to carry around in a backpack on the bus.
However, it's a massive improvement from the Dell Inspiron 15 Gaming which weighed about 2.7kg.

A thicker, heavier laptop is fine if you use it at home and the occasional event but for daily commute, a thinner, lighter machine is preferable even if means less performance imo.

    • Is the laptop 3060 better than a desktop 1080?

      • Assuming the laptop is sufficiently cooled, the desktop would still be faster.

        • Damn…so to get parity I’d have to aim for at least a 3070 laptop?

      • I think they'd be similar assuming the 3060 has high TDP and doesn't thermal throttle

  • Out of stock. Glad I grabbed one.

I have been wondering why does the Microsoft ebay store sell so many non-MS stuffs but at extremely low stock levels. Are they getting rid of inventory they bought for corporate use but no longer needed? Lol.

  • Mine has already been shipped, ETA one week.
