The majority of these will eventually have issues with calibration if you are flying jets and things with it (being a little rough)

Thats cool, these logitech joysticks are not made anywhere near as sturdy.
What are you basing this one? Just the fact in general that most electronics aren't built to last much longer than there warranty, or a personal experience with Logitech?

Almost no decent games around now that use a joystick:(. I remember back in the Wing Commander days…
I have one of these, best joystick I have owned. Admittedly I haven't owned many, but this one seems to perform quite nicely. Bought it 7 Feb 2011 and haven't had an issue with it after some fairly heavy abuse, it still feels as solid as a rock.
In other news, c'mon G35 or G930 on sale. My Razer Barracudas are starting to give up, these look a good candidate for replacement. Probably the G35 better as another transmitter sitting on the side of my head for long hours probably won't do my brain much good.
