You can input the AMEX card number and it will go through - worked for me.
5 months ago quote was $337 and now even after the discount $463. Directly with Mazda $366. No free vacuum and wash with mMycar, obviously will not go there.
Majority service centre including dealer themselves charge for washer additive but nothing being added in the tank. Does anyone notice that ?
It's much worse than that!!! Some will charge you for things like brake flush ($100) with just topping off your brake fluid only (will cost $2). Unless you are well worsed and can bleed the brakes and check, you won't even know!!!
Follow up : So eventually I selected 110,000KM 66 mths and the quote came to $227 and with the discount it became $127.
TBH, I don't expect the $127 service to be really that much different to what I'd get for the $600 quoted originally - the mechanic will just do their daily routine (oil change & checks) ignoring what the order spec sheet says which is an office admin/front-office thing to make things look more formal. Got a call at 10am telling me about a list of things that needs changing ie wipers, air filter, battery, tyres, drive belt - all with a significant markup. I said no to everything but thanks for the inspection, and half of those things I'll just get parts from repco and change myself.
I think I came out okay for $127 - oil & filter, logbook stamp, items identified which I can then follow up on separately for cheaper.
