What to ask your retailer when buying your sheepskin products.
Where are your skins from?
Where are they processed?
Ask for the address of manufacturer and tannery. There should be no reason why your retailer cannot provide you with details of the origin of your boots.

Anniversary present sorted - thanks OP.

    • Thank you for supporting us, Australian Farming and Australian Manufacturing 🤗🇦🇺🙌

  • There seems to be more than 150 in stock

  • Wait til people learn we annually cull 5-10 million roos a year.

  • Are we culling the right species? Who's native here: them or us? Which of us is really causing the environmental destruction?

Look into why we feel the need to cull kangaroos. We kill one species to enable us to exploit, kill, and eat other species. It's insane!

  • Picked one up but mobile screwed up an order got placed without the code. Emailed them about it ASAP and then radio silence -_-
A bit disappointed to see OP so responsive here and then hear nothing from their official support channels. Fingers crossed it can be sorted retrospectively

Like it or not, I am going to neg this one, it’s cruel it’s inhumane

    • You must be vegan?

      • -1

I mean, would you buy dog skin to walk on? Vegan or not, you have to admit that there is an unjustifiable double standard

        • +1

Well I have no problem with cow and sheep for food, clothes and furniture and I eat kangaroo pretty often- so I guess that's my single standard. Animals farmed for consumption I think it's good to use everything we can of the animal. I don't think there's a double standard. If I grew up in a different culture I would eat and use dog. My standard seems pretty sound rather than a non-vegan picking and choosing where they're comfortable.

We salvage the Skins from Abattoirs and Hunters *Australian Government Culling Programs…

If we don’t savage the hides, they will end up in the bin.. 🤷‍♂️

      • Salvage meaning you pay the Abattoirs for the skins? What about the sheepskin and the leather?

  • Looks like a flying squirrel

  • -6

That's pretty gross. A dead animals skin being sprawled on the ground to walk on is rather off putting. Shit like this makes me feel sorry for animals being a commercial object

Mine arrived today, thank you. Both were bigger than 160cm! Happy with the price for the product I've got, great to see the Australian made and owned sticker on the back side of it :).

Thank you for your positive comments, much appreciated! 🤗🙌🦘🇦🇺

  • Do you think my skip lost a few fights? Very little hair around the belly area, the skin shows through very easily and distinctly.

    • Are you happy with it? if not please pm me

      • Its fine, just natural variation. Might trim the leather a bit.

  • are these from road kill? aren't kangaroo's protected?
