I've had my Changhong (CHiQ's old name) TV for 8 years and it's been perfect. Changhong is one of China's oldest and largest TV manufacturers.

The speakers, like a lot of flat screen TVs, are not much chop though and I've had to use a soundbar. Apart from that, the quality is quite good.
I don't think anyone would pay this price for CHiQ brand.
My MIL’s chiq built in speakers literally sound like there are no holes in the speaker grille! (Not that anyone uses the built in speakers)
