    So like you would use this laptop with obs for example and then using a capture card you would stream your more powerful PC?
    If that's the case then probably U can but you cannot go crazy with the stream settings.

      correct the laptop would just do streaming and recording nothing more.

        I personally use an i5-5200u laptop with integrated graphics and 12gb ram and I can record 1080p60 in obs but I have never tried streaming tho. This should be alright since to my experience Vega 3 are I think slightly better than the Intel HD 5500 in my i5-5200u.

    It's a Ryzen 3 3rd gen lol it deserves this price point. I guess for general light tasks though it's okay.

    Most of the time they literally don’t know how to use the pc at all. If they did a fresh install of windows and don’t fill it up with crap it’ll be fine. Dead battery would suck but it can happen.

  would make for a good home server if it had gigabit ethernet.
  Great value school BYOD if it was 13" or 14" rather than 15"… But kid might get bullied for having a ghetto laptop.
  Only box it really ticks is, dirt cheap.
