Got a deal for the Moccamaster? :D

    • ah I got the great deal by Barty!!

I got a few things in it too, I was tempted to make a separate listing for the Precision Brewer, Moccamaster and a few of the other things.

The initial post wasn't a great deal and got negged, which I think made people avoid it.

After the coupon that was posted in the conversation thread there were several legit bargains to be had.

Oh what? How did I miss that! Would have bought an Acaia Lunar…damn! :(

Yeah I did too, would have bought the Breville Precision and a Fellow Ode :(

@miarn: I'm wishing I bought the Fellow Ode instead of the Baratza after looking at it. Oh well!

Ah, the original deal was so lackluster I didn't see the 25% off code

I have one of these as a birthday gift. It's a chunky boi, so its good for family use when you can brew a large batch.

    • Do u just put water it in then wait? How long does it take to make a cup of coffee? I assume you need a coffee grinder yeah (or buy ground coffee)

Dunno what to do re daily Xmas presents lol

i don't have this but it's just a drip machine. it takes as long as boiling water and funneling it through the filter. yep you're correct, you'd either need a coffee grinder to grind the beans or buy ground coffee which is a bit more expensive in the long run.

Yeah its a basic drip coffee machine, you put water in, and put coffee in the filter with filter paper, push a button and it will make you a pot. Definitely would taste better if you grind fresh. My go to recipe is 30g coffee with 500g water, medium to fine grind size. It takes around a few minutes to brew for this machine.

  • love the look of this

  • I was looking at this. Not a fan of glass carafes and hotplates since they burn the coffee if you leave them for more than about half an hour. It's a pity there's no thermal carafe available

It's a nice price but more interested in a Moccamaster, the Breville Precision Brewer or one of the other SCAA or ECBC rated brewers with thermal carafes. The Behmor is probably the best priced of these, although it's very tall.
