      Good question !

      I think the answer may be:

      1. Quality
      2. Alexa / HomeKit compatibility
      3. Better extensions
      4. Better adhesive

      And I know nothing about any of the above being true.

        Your points above are correct. I have some AliExpress cheapies and the Yeelight strips. Yeelight certainly have much better colours, better adhesive, connectors that don't come apart, wayyyy better app and the Google Assistant integration works well with the rest of my smart home setup.

      This plugs into the power socket with an AU plug. You'll need the app to customise colours.
