I hate how they made the city 2 look more pill-like. Now looking like you're carrying a protruding rectangular pencil case with a sling.

Also to note, it's quite similar to the black ember tks.

I've been on the fence about the city sling 2 for a while as I like aer gear. never owned a sling and not sure I want to be a target screaming 'tourist' everywhere I travel.

  Same. Aer has some pretty high quality stuff.
  
  I was so looking forward to a version 2. It has all the bells and whistles - weather guards, fidlock… but the shape…why Aer!?…its so bulky and juts out from the body. Rectangular box sitting across your back or front. Haha and the compression straps don't actually function properly to help with anything.
