  • no stock nearby

  • FYI - no stock in the Newcastle/Hunter region.

    • Technically a dupe, but I'm glad fez posted this as a separate listing because I didn't look past the picture of the first one, as I already have the smaller tool cabinet; and so didn't see that the 36" was the cheapest it's ever been, so thanks fez.

      • Still better off getting 2x21inch and save $100!

I wouldn't buy another one of the 21inch cabinets as the drawers can't hold a lot of weight before they sag down when open and the bottom compartment's door is very annoying to open and gets jammed half the time so I leave it up, which then means everything inside gets covered in dust; they should have just put a side opening door on it.

          • @alidli: True. The reviews on both these units have the same complaint. Unfortunately have to pay a lot more for something better.

            • @MuddyClear: I've had a 21" for over 10 years and it is still a good useable little cabinet even with its short-comings and everything still works; if you want somewhere to keep all your spanners, sockets, etc all in one handy place and on a budget, I'd still recommend one.

  • Some stock in the Gippsland region haha

  • Check the specs on weight and drawer carry capacity.

Supercheap provide little detail on most items in this category.

When the weight of the cabinet in the box is under 40 kg (most cheap online cabinets are under 30 kg) you can be confident it is not up to the job.

Better off with the Supercheap ToolPro at 30% off.

    • ToolPro is just crazy expensive!

    • I have one of these…
      https://www.supercheapauto.com.au/p/toolpro-toolpro-edge-ser…
and I feel the quality is very poor. I had to beef up the base with some extra plates and brackets to stop the whole thing from flexing and creaking. I had to change the castors, so I could move it. The drawers are too deep for my liking. If I had my time again I would have gone for this instead…

This was my first. It is hard to know what you need/like until you get one and start using it.

      • Interesting. I had assumed given the much heavier weight on the ToolPro trolley that it might be half decent. Seems it is much the same as most other Supercheap own brand stuff.

I recently bought a scratched HRD trolley from Total Tools (HRD is an inhouse brand) at a good price and I am very happy with it.

        • Looks like SCA have upped their game with ToolPRO-X

  • Just pulled trigger for Costco $999.99 tooling cabinet.
