  • Will we see better at Black Friday?

    • Already seen better than this just recently for one of the Ballistix RGB kits with these specs; ~$230 at Amazon AU.

      • Source? Camelx3 shows the RGB version lowest around AUD$265

        • Was the red RGB 3600/C16 32GB kit (sold by Amazon UK via AU).

          • @MiscOzB: Could be a price error or out of stock offer as it's only active for a very short window, and you never know it will be a single rank or dual rank.

            • @Auditech: Not a price error and was certainly in stock; they sometimes have really good deals (a search on OzB will show that).

and you never know it will be a single rank or dual rank.

Worth a shot anyway with easy Amazon returns. Could also be people wanting 2 of them for 64GB total and all 4 slots filled.

          • @MiscOzB: Atleast this is Australian stock. Not stock located half way around the Earth. Which can also get lost or damaged in freight due to it being shipped for thousands of km/s. Are you going to risk that just for a $19 saving?.

            • @hollykryten: Was an RGB kit which are generally more expensive than non-RGB of course. And yeah I would; very rare to have issues with Amazon items getting lost/damaged. Simple refund/free return if anything like that does happen.

@MiscOzB: I know i would get downvotes for this. But RGB is so over rated.

                  @hollykryten:

But RGB is so over rated.

Agreed; not a fan of it either.

            • @hollykryten: I have ordered thousands of things from Amazon over the years, coming from UK, EU, US. Never ever had an issue with anything ever getting lost or stolen. Amazon returns are also amazing and have never had an issue if an item is faulty.

              • @shellshocked: I've ordered things from Amazon too. And once it took close to half a year for an item to arrive from Amazon UK. This was an item ordered close to the end of the year. Some times international standard postal shipping can go crazy taking months to arrive.

    • Depends on the supply. Not sure what's the impact by the increased freight cost, shortage of containers and the recent earthquake in Taiwan.

There hasn't been any deals on OZB for the Ballistix 32GB 3600 for a while.

  • what about some sweet BL2K32G36C16U4B

  • thanks OP! got 1

    • Thank you.

  • Doe this benefit other setups like Intel 7xxx series? Will be running the ram at XMP. Thanks

    • Some reports it runs at 3600MHz by default under XMP. This is one of the top performing RAMs for gamers and IT professionals. Dual rank makes it even sweeter. Not sure if the 7xxx Intel runs at this speed, 2666MHz could be the maixmum.

  • cheers OP :) grabbed one

    • Thank you.

  • Are they compatible with gigabyte b450m ds3h? my CPU is Ryzen 3600.. I'm a computer dummy..

    • Yes. Budget motherboards might struggle with very high clockspeeds (like 4000mhz +). These should be fine.

If you already have ram that isn't as fast installed, you might have to run these slower to match, as all the ram installed must run at the same speed.

I doubt you would need 32gb of ram though, perhaps look at adding 16gb.

      • Thanks. Helped a lot.

    • Agree with @Shacktool, although it sounds a perfect match to run 3600 RAM with a Ryzen 3600…

      • I agree, this is a great deal. Probably best to sell the ram you have and just use this
