  • Includes GST? How long will delivery take?

    • Hello yes it includes gst delivery is about 10 days

      • what is the return policy if it turns out that the phone does not do 5g/volte in Australia? The website suggests return shipping (where to - HK or Brisbane?) and 25% restocking fee which kills the deal.

        • it's not a deal for you to try a new phone and return for free

what does the seller do with your used phone ?

          • @dcep: If a 5G phone does not work in an Australian 5G network, it is just broken and not "used". But the seller may say that it is a global version which does not have to work. I just want to clarify this bit - and if the seller does not want to test for themselves - I am happy to test (wearing rubber gloves and not removing all this films so the phone is resellable) but do not want to do it for 25% penalty :)

  • is this one going to work on telstra's 5g/volte?

    • Very difficult to get an answer on this one! I would buy if I could be certain it did.

right. I almost bought Sony xperia when discovered its questionable 5g support in AUS and now I have to suspect every grey phone not to support even volte :-/

This is a pivotal point for me. I don't like dropping to 3G when taking a call, especially when hot-spotting. Overseas phones are hit & miss - for example, no VoLTE on my Xiaomi RN10P but the Xiaomi Poco F3 has it.

If we had VoLTE confirmed I'd buy this phone right now.

      • Agreed, uncertainty around Telstra VOLTE is the only stumbling block. OP, please confirm..

  • Is it okay to buy from overseas? What about warranty / repair?

    • Hello we provide you with a 1 year warranty in our Brisbane based retail shop

      It's a Google device

  • That is a great price for a phone that is not available in Australia.
I wanted to buy this for my partner, but had to settle on the 4A 5G.
The main differences between the two is slightly larger screen, battery increased to 4,680mAh for the 5A, from3,885mAh. It now has an IP67 reading, waterproof for 30 minute at 1 metre. My only issue is buying a grey import.

    • I'm looking at buying this, is your issue with a grey import the lack of warranty?

      • @dave484 Yes, mainly lack of Google warranty which is 2 years, compared to MyMobile which is one year and you
probably have to pay for postage to return your phone. Also I know and trust Google but I haven't heard of MyMobile.
Doesn't mean they're bad, in fact I looked at their reviews and they were quite good, so I probably would have bought
this phone if this price was available 2 months ago.

        • Thanks mate, appreciate the response, I will look into this seller and phone a bit more before pulling the pin!

    • 4a 5g also has free google photos storage which isnt bad either….

  • Is this the Japanese version that doesn't let you disable the shutter sound on the camera?

  • Can you confirm if this has all bands necessary for Australia? What country's stock is this? Japan or US?

    it is the japan version

    • Can anyone tell me if this will work on Lebara (Vodafone network)?
The frequencies on the page below don't seem to match up with the above bands.

      https://www.vodafone.com.au/support/network/4g-network

My wife is in need of a new phone.

      • Found this.

Seems like it shouldn't be a problem as we don't have access to 5G on Lebara anyway:

        Vodafone, for 4G, uses bands B1 (2100MHz), B3 (1800MHz), B5 (850MHz) and a handful of B7 (2600MHz) & B28 (2600MHz) sites, all are supported by this phone.

No 5G for Lebara but, this phone supports Vodafone on 5G as well.

        • Thanks for that. Much appreciated!

Can anyone confirm if this works on Telstra/boost 5g?
Are there any local networks this won't work on?
