Baseus Emergency Window Breaker Seat Belt Cutter $12.14 ($11.87 with eBay Plus) Delivered @ Baseus Global Store eBay

Here’s a tool that you may not think you need (or ever want to use!). But, an emergency is an emergency…and it may save a life or few…

I have been searching a while now for one of these tools that can break automotive glass and cut seat belts. After careful consideration, I felt that Baseus would be a brand I can put my trust into (versus all the other similar ones out there). That is, I don’t want to be in a situation where I need to break my glass window and cut my seatbelt; only to find out the tool I bought doesn’t do it because I was an OzBargainer and decided to save a few bucks on a cheaper tool.

$16.49 normal price delivered
$13.19 with code PSSDS20
$12.86 with code PSSDS22
Up to 3% cheaper if using gift card
Buy more than 1 and save a bit more

I bought 2 and ended up paying $25.06 (plus an extra 3% off).

This price, is by far, the cheapest I have seen for the Baseus tool (and direct from Baseus).

Makes a good Kris Kringle or cheapy present for someone.

Enjoy!

  • Thanks…

Just in time for Kris Kringle gifts…

    Showing $11.87 for me.

    • LMAO!

    • Coming from China with ETA 30th Nov - 13th Jan. Best of luck :).

      • Best of luck

        Thank you.

  • I'm wondering whether anyone in the whole world has ever used one of these?

    I'm guessing no.

Comes as standard in every Tesla (next to the fire extinguisher).

      • I would think any car that has retractable door handles should have these as standard. Thankfully it hasn't become too much of a trend so far.

    • +1

it's something you hope you don't have to use.

      • -1

yes because if you are in a situation that this had to be used to free yourself i'm sure you'd be pretty fkd and probably be a useless tool unless someone come and rescue you haha.

        • In that situation you wish you have pulled the trigger.if you do pull the trigger and in that situation, you will find the tool doesn’t work. : ) or it’s a real bargain

Chinese people have to drive Chinese cars.

    • I do very regularly unfortunately, but then again I'm biased being in emergency services.

  • They just reduced the price by 10%!!! Damn it.

We have something like the one in this ebay link in our centre console as well as in the side pockets of the back seats. But ours also have a light.
Of course you might never need it (hopefully). But rather be save than sorry. Also keep in mind that you might have use for it to free some one else in an accident you are not involved and only witnessed. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/124697915052

The Baseus one posted here looks nice but has some major flaws in MY OPINION:

    • Colour. In an emergency you want something bright you can easily find even while your are in shock or full of adrenalin.

    • It looks you need to take it apart (actually screw it apart) to expose the belt cutter. A potential waste of precious time and also potentially a huge obstacle for shaky hands.

    • Last but not least the Grip. Again looks good but might not be the best solution in an emergency with shaky and slippery hands.

  • What makes this any better than these $5 ones?

The design is similar to ones which have been in buses for years so i guess that design works best???

    • I agree as per my comment above.
But please note that the one you have linked seems to ship from China with an expected delivery early December.

      • Early December for anything shipping from china is extremely generous with how shipping times are at the moment.

      • Don't crash until after christmas then

    • I have this one (or something identical), thankfully never had to use it, but it seems very good

Better to get this one for $5 from Repco

  • EDC tactical pen if you're into multi-purpose gadgets.

I felt that Baseus would be a brand I can put my trust into

I dunno, the impression I get is they're an Alibaba dropship brand like a dozen other similar brands that get spammed on this site all the time.

  • Part of single day sales….? It's not that bad being single

  • Got one, just in case lol
    Thanks OP

  • Two pack (one for each car) for $15 here: https://www.amazon.com.au/Escape-Emergency-Safety-Hammer-Bre…

Prime required, but you'll get it in two days.
IMO a better design as well.
