Depends on your usage, I've had a Techniice box for over 10 years, ice lasts over a week in it, and despite spending most of its life sitting in the elements the only damage is from when some fat bastard sat on it and warped the lid a little.
I've also got a Keter storage box outside, it's maybe 3-4 years old and the plastic has been looking a bit average for a while.
