Looks like these SodaKing bottles are on 30% off for those looking to stock up/refill for the holiday season, seems to be the lowest they ever go:

Here is the link to the full bottle if required:

As previously mentioned the smaller valve (SodaKing and Kegland) are apparently very easy for DIY refill compared to the larger brass valve in the new Sodastream.

Dont know if it just me but the Soda King bottles have a different tasting gas than Soda Stream (meaning they taste kind of weird)

If you are going to refill then kegland are still $21.95 for a full brand new cylinder.

We use a big co2 and decant into keglands and older sodastream bottles, been working great for a few years now, shedloads cheaper than buying them the intended way.

My inner OzBargain is so satisfied when I see these deals.
My KegKing Freedom Hose and 6Kg Cylinder that gets an annual refill for $24 is a gamechanger!

    • Been wanting to do this as well but can't convince the Mrs to let me drill a hole in the counter top to hide the bottle. So might have to go the refilling cannisters option

I've got my Sodastream in the garage and bottle to one side so I just bored a hole in the back cover for the hose. I think I would arrive with the same household reluctance inside as well :-D

    • Brilliant, thanks for sharing

As of today these are on special for Spotlight VIP members at $12 for a refill and $22.20 for a full bottle. Classic machines are currently $48 and 0.5/1 litre bottles $9 for two.

There’s also a VIP coupon for $40 off $100 spend which works with these instore.

    • And still no stock in my local store.
Hasn't been since this price was posted here.

      • South Melbourne store had machines, spare bottles and refills/full bottles (kept behind the checkout, so you have to ask for them) as of yesterday.
