I mentioned this in the previous deal but these won't register for warranty with Samsung Australia as they're a grey import.

I tried and Samsung declined it based on the IMEI number I provided.

Some reviews say these are grey imports

Does the warranty matter that much? My understanding is that after about 2 years, the batteries will run dry. Then you gotta perform micro surgery on it.

I got some Sound peats for $47 and happy with those but accept that in two years, I will move on.

warranty is absolutely important. also which soundpeats?

      • Soundpeat Sonic with bluetooth 5/ Aptx. They are pretty good fit for me. I think the fit is very individual though.

I heard you need a masters in moth surgery to be able to replace earphone batteries.

      • The samsung buds and case are very easy to replace.

      • pHD in Ant surgery my man. You basically gotta be ant man.

    • The trick is for it to die at 23 month, and you send in for warranty/replacement.

      So yes, warranty matters.

    • 2 years doesn't sound long my dyson and ueboom's I have been using for 4 years and the batteries are still going strong

    • I've had my original galaxy buds for about 2 years now and haven't noticed too much of a drop in battery. I mean the battery on the originals isn't great, but I just went for a 2 hour run with them and they didn't run out of battery.

      • Good to hear that battery life doesn't go down too much.

  • Tempting but grey import is a little eh

  • Thanks, bought one.

For anyone else buying, worth clicking through cashrewards as there might be 4% off earphones

  • These are a few models old now. So I am wondering whether these will go on clearance soon.

  • Am I correct in thinking that these don't have active noise cancelling but adaptive sound much like the Pixel Buds A-series?
