First Month Free on All Prepaid Mobile Plans on eSim @ gomo Communications (App Required)

180

Download/Update the app from Android/iOS app store. Click download e-sim button and follow the prompt. Worked on both of my Pixel 6 and iPhone 12 pro, I chose 60GB Plan with international calling. Roughly took 15 minutes from setup to activation. If you are planning to cancel auto-renewal then cancel it right away from app and you still get the whole month. Gomo uses the Optus 4G network, offers Wi-Fi Calling and VOLTE as well and owned by Optus. gomo Communications is a division of Optus Mobile Pty Ltd ABN 65 054 365 696

$5 for the starter pack / month. Theres all these shopback codes floating around - with cashbacks it might work out much cheaper and its pure prepaid.

    • You can store up to 10 esims on a phone if I’m not wrong and turn off the one you don’t need. I just got 2 extra for all the discounts on different apps we get for new signups

Unless you live in SA where Vodafail 5g is virtually non-existent.

      • true the coverage isnt that well established yet so of course choose what suits you local.. but for those that live in big cities, 5G is enticing when its also same price if not cheaper.. u can also get a sim (doesnt have to be e-sim) if you want

    Finally !!! a MVNO with eSim ??!!

  • Seems like a terrible price for prepaid except it's a plan which makes it even worse.

The private telco sector continues to be an economy destroying rip off and by that I mean you lose your money.

    • TBH I think competition has been going great and gives the SIM slutters a pretty good run. We need some people paying more so the telcos can keep subsidizing the promotions.

      • That's a very interesting perspective..

        • +2

Same thing applies many other promos such as credit card. The banks must be making lots of money over people who pay interest. In turn it makes it worthwhile for them to put in short-term incentives that loses money most of the time, but worthwhile overall when they catch the few big whales.

If the telco/banks are not making money overall, we can kiss goodbye to all these deals.

Don't get me wrong, I am all for everyone minimizing the costs. Guess it's just people being rewarded for the effort to churn, but get pinged if they forgot to do it.

  • Not working.!

    • Did you get it to work?

  • Can anyone recommend a good plan (preferably an e-sim) that allows SMS receive while OS for travel (fingers crossed for next year sometime) mainly for the stupidity that is 2FA (instead of using an authenticator app like Googles)

  • Hi guys, I have a galaxy s21 which apparently supports esim. If I get a new number for esim, can I use dual sim (dual number I meant) as an esim and the pysical one at the same time?

    • Can't see why not. It's what I've been doing with my pixel phone for the last few years.
I put in my work physical sim and have my personal number on esim. Both are on and I set work sim as default for calls and data.

      • thanks for reply
