iHerb: 20% Cashback @ Cashrewards

1081

First post, please be kind.

Just saw this pop up on Cashrewards: 20% cashback (capped at $30) until 11pm tonight (11 November).

You can also enter the current iHerb code (SINGLES2021) for 22% off, but no idea whether you'll still get 20% cashback on top of that (worth a go).

SINGLES2021 is listed on cashrewards so you should get both.

    • It's listed as a separate offer on the CR website, so I didn't want to assume you could get both

:( Put an order in at 5pm and it already shipped so cant cancel! I wonder if they they marked it as shipped cause they knew the bigger cashback was coming even though it hasnt as even their website says "Due to increased order volume, it may take up to 4 days to fulfill and ship orders. Customers will be notified as soon as their orders are shipped. We are working to get orders shipped as soon as possible and appreciate your patience."

    • they are pretty fast processing orders and shipping off from my experience :(
      Order more?

      • My previous order took days to ship so i guess they have caught up but it's also anywhere between 1:45-4:45am there so seems like their warehouse is working 24 hours a day.

Made an order, cashback stacks with singles code!

  • +2

Are they still out of stock of practically everything?

    • Yes :(

    • What kind of things are you looking for? I feel like they're out of stock of skincare a lot so I tend to buy from elsewhere.

      • +5

Vitamins and melatonin tablets (local melatonin is a rip-off).

        • I want to try melatonin for when I'm travelling as I usually have a hard time sleeping, are there any brands you recommend, things I should look out for?

          • +4

@BarginHunter: Something to be aware of is that lot of 'melatonin' sold in Australia doesn't contain melatonin and is just herbs.

Actual melatonin is expensive as hell, for no reason, and depending on age requires a prescription, but isn't subsidised via Medicare.

Any brand should be fine, and iHerb is a good site for purchasing it from.

            • @NobalaKoba: Thanks for the info, yeah, planning on buying from iHerb, just concerned if there are any brands I need to avoid or red flags to look out for.

          • @BarginHunter: I've never had an issue with either Life Extension or Natrol melatonin.

Life Extension lozenges are good if you have trouble getting to sleep. Natrol make a decent extended release tablet if you have issues staying asleep.

          • @BarginHunter: I tend to find melatonin works better when you put on blue light blocking glasses at the same time as the dose. And then if you also get blue light exposure soon after you wake up your circadian rhythm will adapt quickly

            • @ChadHominem:

              blue light blocking glasses

Any you recommend? I've looked at the $30~ ones on Amazon but there's mixed reviews and I've never tried any.

              • @Skinnerr: The ones my doctor recommended are similar to these (quick search on Amazon I wasn’t able to find something like this)
                https://www.blockbluelight.com.au/products/fitover-blue-bloc…

They’re more like goggles than glasses but I highly recommend because this type covers your whole field of vision which is really what you want, especially with indoor LED lighting being based on blue light these days

        • I tried to order melatonin from iHerb but it never arrived, didn't say it was seized but isn't it prescription only?

iHerb refunded my entire purchase also which was great.

          • +1

@domingochavez: I fairly regularly order it without issue. If they refunded you then it sounds like you've got nothing to lose ordering it again.

    Ordered this morning 😟

    • same😫

    • Same and already shipped the buggers.

  • Had what I wanted in stock…Thank you! I would of missed this otherwise.

  • Sweet I can buy some ivamektin

  • SO ANNOYING. I placed an order a few hours ago at 6%. I noticed it didn't even track, so I cancelled it and am reordering. :D

    • Tracking should be pretty soon. I advise that empty your cart before click via CR or any others. There was once that it did not track for me, but I did not bother to chase it up.

Shopback Singapore states it clearly. Since iHerb is an international store, you'd better follow it. It may be a terms that is missed out @ CR/SB here, which will also makes claim hard.

      • This one tracked straight away, Im unsure why my other order didnt track. It looks like I got lucky they didnt ship it out either, and managed to cancel it.

They've jacked their prices. By a lot!

  • I want to try melatonin but there is no way to find enough stuff to get to free postage.

  • everything out of stock - what a joke

    • I just selected US as destination and magically everything is in stock. They are purposely marking stuff out of stock for Australian customers.

      • Yes just tried it and same for me: that really sucks!

        • +1

Here's what their support people had to say - I'm obviously not endorsing this - just passing it on:

The reason why the item shows available for shipping in the cart but shows out of stock in the checkout stage is that the check for availability in the warehouse shipping directly to your address is done after you have provided the shipping address information in the checkout stage.

Some items might not be available at your address due to the stock available in the warehouse that handles that destination.

  • Oh sweet they sell protein bars, thanks
Already under $1/ea for the variety pack and then double discounts make it dirt cheap

  • -1

Prices so jacked about the only time we'd consider ordering as this offsets it.

  • +1

Gah, of course Thorne Research is excluded from the 22% discount.

I guess the 20% cashback still makes it worthwhile…

    • +1

Thorne seems to never be on sale and it's always excluded from the "sitewide" sales. I got the 20% cashback on a Thorne item but not sure if that will be approved or not.

      • Yes, I've noticed that iHerb's discount codes and sales always exclude Thorne products for some reason.

Cashback always seems to be paid on Thorne items though at least.

  • Thanks, had a few items on my list, good timing

  • Got the 22 percent SINGLES 2021 offer and the Cashback…..sweet.

  • Thanks OP, best discount ever received on iHerb.

Check Amazon, sometimes they have good prices.

The life extension Multi packs are over $120 at iherb, $75au with free shipping on Amazon from the US

    Always worth checking.

I only buy basics, vitamin D, mag, zinc and it works out pretty cheap esp with 22% off plus 20% CB

They did add GST, and Jack because of currency unfortunately and postage is included, it's not free.

  • Awesome, was going to order some skincare stuff from here the other day but decided to try some Deciem products instead from their sale. Ordered a few hours ago so I get to try these too!

  • +3

My order last night did not track. Has anyone run into the same problem?
